Chelsea Board Very Interested in Signing Bargain to Replace £52 Million Spaniard

Chelsea are reportedly keeping a very close eye on Brest star Bradley Locko – according to Journalist Iomie Stanley

Despite the fact Chelsea were unable to get many deals done in the January window because of that financial fair play rule – it is widely expected that the board delve into that transfer kitty at the end of the season and add a few more players to the side.

Marc Cucurella is one star that CHELSEA could look to sell in the transfer window after failing to make the impact that many people had hoped – and the talented Locko has been identified as a possible replacement for the Spaniard.

Locko has been impressing for Brest this season and has caught the eye of many top clubs – who know that it may only take a small fee to get a deal done when the transfer window officially opens up.

Now – amid all the speculation – Stanley has opened up and told icfootballnews: ”I’m told that Bradley Locko of Brest is now being closely watched by Chelsea this season as a potential new left back option to pursue at the end of the season,

“The 21-year-old is rather unknown, but he is being watched by a number of top clubs this season, including Chelsea. He is seen a a very good long-term investment for the club.

‘The Chelsea board will continue their trend of signing young players for the future – and Locko fits that vision perfectly.’

It is all well and good signing these young players for the future – but is he really better than Cucurella? Will he ever be better than the Spaniard?

The Answer is probably not and CHELSEA would be better off trying to sign a more established player.
