Chelsea have been told that they can sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for £21 million this summer

The Blues have been linked with so many players over the past few months – but have not yet been able to get all the transfer deals done – and Thomas Tuchel knows that his squad needs to be improved in many areas of the squad

That has led to some stunning reports in the media last month that ChelseaFC have made contact with Barcelona over a potential deal for Aubameyang – the man who only left Arsenal in the last January transfer window

Auba has been impressing during his time with the Spaniards – but after the arrival of goal-machine Robert Lewandowski – his game time at the club next season will not be what it was last campaign

Now – according to reports on the SUN – Barcelona have now informed Chelsea that they will be able to sign Aubameyang this transfers window if they meet his £21 million asking price

Auba would be one of those players and it would be a costly mistake to get the man

He is not the player that he was just a couple of seasons ago and even though he would add some goals to that Chelsea attack – he is a player that most clubs would not be worried about

Chelsea have missed out on some cracking players this summer – but adding players right at the end of their top-level playing careers will not bring that Premier League title back to the club guys
