Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news, gossip and transfer latest from icfootballnews that we think you guys could have missed today…

It has been claimed in the media this week that on-loan goalkeeper Kepa would like to return to CHELSEA at the end of the season when his spell at Premier League outfit Bournemouth runs out.

Brought for £71 million a good few years ago now, Kepa has become a player that has struggled to make any sort of impact at Chelsea in between those sticks and has been shifted out on loan a number of times.

Last season he had a successful spell with Real Madrid, but despite his impressive performances, the Spaniards made the decision that they would not be offering Kepa a long-term deal and he made the move back to Chelsea.

This season he has been at Bournemouth and is the clubs current number one stopper, but While Kepa is enjoying his time at Bournemouth, a permanent move there seems far from guaranteed.

In fact, according to Marca, Kepa wants to return to Chelsea in 2025 and then things will be taken from there as he would prefer a move away from the Premier League.

Kepa has all the qualities to be a top-level goalkeeper, so it is a shame that the man has been unable to get to the quality that many had hoped for, he needs to leave CHELSEA on a more permanent basis though.

He is done at the Blues and a move away would give him the chance to settle down and become more happy than he is right now.

There will be a few clubs that will show an interest in Kepa at the end of the season, he has been decent for Bournemouth and has proven that he can be a regular number one for his next club.

But one thing is for certain, he needs to leave the Blues.

ESTEVAO MAKES THIAGO SILVA CLAIM

Brazilian wonderkid Estevao says he has been speaking about his impending move to CHELSEA and revealed what Brazilian icon Thiago Silva has been saying about the Blues, ahead of his move to the Premier League next summer.

Despite the fact that Estevao is not yet at Chelsea and playing on a weekly basis, there is already alot of excitement about what the Brazilian can bring to the club having made a big name for himself over in South America.

He is already one of the best players in the Brazilian league, is a full international and has many of the countries legends coming out and stating that he has the quality to go on and become one of the best players in world football.

Now – Estevao has opened up and revealed just what Thiago SIlva has been saying about Chelsea, and that Reece James has told him to make contact if anything is needed: ‘There is James who said that if I needed anything I should speak to him,’ Estevao told ESPN

‘Thiago Silva spoke to me in that last game. He said that the club is top and they are waiting for me with open arms.’

While Estevao insists he does not have a ‘preference’ when it comes to his potential squad number at CHELSEA, it appears he has his eye on the No.41 shirt – most recently worn by Alfie Gilchrist.

‘I don’t have a particular preference but I really like 41. If I got 41 that would be cool,’ Estevao continued.

‘I’ve always been a No.10 and I move to the wing to have one-on-ones.

‘Of course I respect Abel Ferreira’s decision, I know that I’ve enjoyed being on the wing more, but who knows, in the future I’ll play where I feel more comfortable, which is inside.’

CHELSEA TO GET OLMO CHANCE

There has been some stunning rumours emerge in the media this week which may give the likes of CHELSEA the chance to sign Dani Olmo from Barcelona in the January window, as the Spaniards may be forced to sell the midfielder.

The former RB Leipzig playmaker has warmed to life at the Camp Nou, notching six goals in 12 appearances across all competitions from the heart of Barcelona’s midfield. He has definitely proven his worth to summer managerial appointment, Hansi Flick.

However – the Spaniard had only been registered for an initial six-month period, and the Catalans face another race against time to register their man for the second half of the season.

The news will alert a number of sides in the Premier League to a possible deal for one of the most creative players in La Liga right now, and a player that Chelsea were very much interested in signing before the decision was made to make the move to Barcelona.

But as per the report from Mundo Deportivo, there is a unique clause in Olmo’s contract which indicates that should the player not be registered for the club in future windows, he would then be able to depart as a free agent.

It shows just what kind of financial difficulty that Barcelona are in that they may have to let one of the clubs most creative players leave because they cannot register him, it would be mad.

However – despite the latest rumours, we believe that this will all be sorted out and Olmo will end up staying at the club, especially as there are a number of players in the side that could generate enough money from being sold that this would not be an issue.

It is crazy to think that he could leave for nothing though.
