Will Tuchel leave Chelsea?

Fofana wants to complete Chelsea move – Blues close to Casadei move – De Jong to accept Blues move in Chelsea news of the day –

Chelsea target Frenkie de Jong is ‘open to joining’ the club and will accept an offer from the Blues- according to journalist Simon Phillips.

De Jong has been a player that has been in the headlines a lot over the past 6 months as all indications suggested that he would be leaving Barcelona

It has been claimed on many occasions that Barcelona are keen sell De Jong and recoup some of the money that they have spent on signing new players over the past few weeks

Barcelona have brought in the likes of Raphinha, Jules Kounde and Robert Lewandowski for big money as they look to rebuild the team – and the £60M they could receive from the sale of De Jong would go a long way.

That has led to stunning reports in the media that ChelseaFC have made an offer to try and secure the services of De Jong this summer – as Thomas Tuchel wants to bolster his midfield

Now – amid all the speculation -Phillips has claimed that De Jong is ready to accept an offer from Chelsea and is open to joining the Blues – despite the fact he is keen to stay at Barcelona

he said: “I don’t think it will, not on this occasion because he hasn’t said no to Chelsea, he hasn’t shut it down.

“His people have been open in conversations, and they’re getting a feeling that even though his ideal scenario is to stay at Barcelona, he is also open to joining Chelsea.”

We would not be surprised to see De Jong stay at Barcelona this summer – but we would not be surprised to see him leave either

It is no secret that he will have to take a pay-cut to stay at the Camp Nou – as all these new players have been given massive wages

But we believe the best thing for him to do is depart the club – and Chelsea would be a great move for the man

Chelsea close to Casadei move –

Chelsea have closed in on the possible signing of Inter Milan midfielder Cesare Casadei – fans have been told

Chelsea was expected to make some big transfer signings this summer that would see a couple of defenders – a midfielder and a striker all make the move to Stamford Bridge

But despite all the speculation and all the rumours – Chelsea have only managed to secure the services of Marc Cucurella – Raheem Sterling and Kalidou Koulibaly – which has improved the squad – but not enough

And that now means that ChelseaFC will need to delve into the transfer kitty over the remaining weeks of the transfer window and do some more business – and Casadei is a player they are keen on

The midfielder has registered 39 goals and eight assists in 104 appearances for various Inter youth sides throughout the years – but has not yet been able to make an appearance at the senio ranks

But the Chelsea scouts have been keeping a very close eye on the potential and are now ready to complete a move for the lad – and if you believe the claims by transfer expert Dean Jones – they are closing in on a deal

In an interview with GiveMeSport, he said: “It seems like they’ve had a bit of a breakthrough.

“Yesterday I mentioned there was a bit of concern, and that was because Nice and two Italian teams were looking at him, and there was some feeling the Nice one might happen, but Chelsea are favourites to sign him now and are close to an agreement.”

We have seen this before – Chelsea sign some amazing talent – there is alot of hype and excitement – he makes the move and gets sent out on loan to various clubs over the next few seasons

We don’t know how good Casadei is – but if he is not ready to make an appearance in that Inter side – he is nowhere near ready for Chelsea

Fofana wants Chelsea move –

Wesley Fofana is becoming increasingly unsettled at Leicester and feels the club are pricing him out of a move to Chelsea.

Raheem Sterling, Marc Cucurella and Kalidou Koulibaly are the only three big-named players that has arrived this summer – as Thomas Tuchel has struggled to sign his top targets

Thomas Tuchel knows that he needs to add a couple more defenders to the side over the next few weeks – with reports that the German wants to find a long-term replacement for the aging Thiago Silva

And there are still many rumours in the media that the club are very interested in a deal for Fofana

Leicester have set an asking price of a fee in the region of £80m to £85m – as they do not want to lose the player this summer – but that has not stopped Chelsea from making their moves for the player

Recent reports in the media have claimed that Chelsea and Fofana have now agreed personal terms worth a reported £200,000-a-week – and now all there is left to do is agree that fee between both clubs

The 21-year-old centre-back wants to play in the Champions League to increase his chances of being picked for France at the World Cup this winter.

He wants to follow in the footsteps of Didier Drogba – a player with legendary status in Fofana’s hometown of Marseille – by playing his football at Stamford Bridge.

But according to the Daily Mail – he believes that Leicester are pricing him out of that dream move to Stamford Bridge – a switch that is keen to make

Fofana is a brilliant talent – but a move to Chelsea would mean more game time on the bench – which would mean less chance of going to the world cup later this season.

It would be a massive move for the lad to make – but again – the money that is being talked about is crazy – far too much for the lad at this stage of his career
