Done deal! Chelsea rap up smart summer deal as exciting Nigerian star Aina gets transfer wrapped up

Highly-rated Chelsea youngster Ola Aina has agreed to join Torino on a season-long loan, reports on the Sky Sports website have confirmed.

The Nigeria international, who represented England at youth level, has made just six first-team appearances for Chelsea. And is reportedly keen to play football away from England.

He spent last season at Championship side Hull, getting some much needed first team minutes and gaining some valuable experience, but despite their interest in taking him for another season, he has agreed a move to Serie A, with the option of a permanent deal at the end of the season.

Aina is just one of a number of talented young players at the club that Chelsea acquired as a teenager and never got the chance to prove himself at the club, as the Blues prefer instant success rather than playing the long game.

So he decided to make the move to Serie A and pick up some much needed game time, despite interest from PSV Eindhoven and a few other clubs in Netherlands. And if the move workd out then he may get the chance to prove himself permanently at the Serie A side next season.

Here is what we think on the deal.

It is a great move for the young man to make as Torino are a solid side that will help him develop very nicely, especially since Italian football is one of the best defensively in world football.

He knows that he will not get an opportunity to prove himself at Stamford Bridge this season, as Maurizio Sarri already has his starting eleven in mind, so the move to Italy will give him a real chance to play in one of the biggest Leagues and show the Blues just what they are missing out on.

However, if he impresses enough then he may get the move made permanent, just like Kenedy did earlier this summer when he signed for Newcastle.

But to sum up, the lad has made a very smart decision by signing for Torino.
