Legend speaks on the possible Chelsea signing of £60M star – sends big message!

Former Chelsea defender Jason Cundy does not want Neymar to join the club, amid the latest speculation.

All the headlines over the past few days have been about Kylian Mbappe leaving PSG after he told the French side that he would not be signing a new contract at the end of next season.

Mbappe is fed up in at the French side and is keen to move on – although he would much rather wait until next summer when he is able to leave on a free deal and sign for the club of his choice.

It is no secret that CHELSEA are massively interested in signing the Frenchman – but know that a big offer is pointless as Mbappe has his heart set on a dream move to Spanish giants Real Madrid.

But it seems that they will also get the chance to hold talks with PSG over a possible deal for Brazilian star Neymar.

However – amid the latest transfer speculation – Cundy has opened up and claimed that he does not want to see Neymar make the move to Stamford Bridge.

WHAT HAS BEEN SAID – 

The talkSPORT host believes the Brazilian is ‘overrated’ and doesn’t want the Blues to sign him.

“Well, you know my thoughts on Neymar, I think he’s overrated,” the Blues fan, and former defender, previously told the Sports Bar.

“Good player, but overrated. It’s all about him. Eden Hazard was a team player.

“Neymar has been linked with Chelsea for a while, I’ve always said I wouldn’t want him near my club. I don’t think he’s the sort of player that Chelsea need.

“Is he a good player? Is he talented? Yes, I don’t doubt that for a second. But I would not want him near CHELSEA.”

Once upon a time Neymar would have been a world class signing guys – but those days are gone and it would be a mistake to bring him to the club now
