Winger on way to Stamford Bridge after Chelsea board ‘AGREE’ another deal
CHELSEA have agreed a deal to sign Benfica winger Diego Moreira this summer, who will reportedly arrive at the club for free.
Despite the fact that Chelsea are still hoping to secure European football for next season – and despite the fact that they are still looking for there next manager – Ted Boehly is still looking at signing players.
The Blues owner is adding stars to his squad that many feel are not needed – but he has a long-term plan that includes some of the best talents in the game – and now Moreira is seemingly on his way to the club.
Moreira made his senior debut for Benfica last year but has yet to make a first-team appearance this season and has been a regular for the club’s B team.
The 18-year-old’s contract with the Portuguese club expires at the end of the season and he has opted not to extend his deal. And According to Record, Chelsea have now moved in and have reached an agreement to sign Moreira once his contract with Benfica expires.
It has also been claimed that Chelsea have beaten off the likes of AC Milan to secure the services of the young man.

Look, Moreira may be a very exciting talent that could have a bright future in the game – but he has been unable to secure regular football in that Benfica team – he will struggle to ever make it at Chelsea.
The Blues board should be more worried about getting a new manager in and running the club that adding players to the side that will not do anything for at least a couple of seasons.
If the reports are true – it is a massive chance and move for Moreira – but he is not a player that will make any difference to CHELSEA.
