It has been claimed that Chelsea wants to sign Bayern Munich midfielder Joshua Kimmich in the summer transfer window, according to Fichajes.net

The German midfielder sees his contract at Bayern expire in 2025 with no progress as yet of an extension. As a result, Florian Plettenberg of Sky Germany recently reported that the midfielder is thought to be exploring his options this summer.

Furthermore, Plettenberg recently stated that Bayern would be willing to sell Kimmich should a “suitable offer” arrive.

It is believed that ‘some’ of those five clubs have already made contact with Kimmich over a possible move, and if you believe the reports coming out of German – the International star is open to a move to the Premier League

And according to Fichajes.net – the Blues are keeping a close eye on the situation on Kimmich ahead of the summer window and will make a move if there is a real chance of getting a transfer deal done.

Reporter Iomie Stanley told icfootballnews: CHELSEA have been doing some dodgy business over the past couple of transfer windows -but if they are able to get a deal done for this man – he would be a great signing.

It has been claimed that Chelsea are dreaming of signing Mike Maignon in the summer transfer window, according to Fichajes.

CHELSEA made some big signings last summer that they believed would help the club challenge for a Champions League spot and maybe add some silverware to the cabinet.

One arrival that was made was that of Robert Sanchez – who was no longer wanted at Brighton and was quickly signed up by the Blues as they were desperate to add a new stopper to the side.

He has been a massive part of that Chelsea side this season – but he is not seen as a man that is good enough to play for one of the big Premier League clubs and has really struggled to impress.

That has led to alot of speculation in the media that Chelsea will once again delve into that transfer kitty and add a new goalkeeper to the side, and Maignon is a man that has been linked with a move to London for a while.

Maignon has made 42 appearances for Milan this season and has kept 15 clean sheets and has firmly established himself as one of the best goalkeepers on Seria A and maybe even Europe.

CHELSEA have had a busier few transfer windows than many people expected, with a number of stars departing the club over the last few windows, and a number of players making their ways to Stamford Bridge.

However – it is no secret that Chelsea missed out on a number of transfer targets that Mauricio Pochettino really wanted to sign, as targets simply did not want to join the Blues vision.

There was also speculation in the media that the likes of Frenkie De Jong were also players that Chelsea were interested in signing, but were unable to get any deals done as they wanted to stay at the Camp Nou.
