£100 million rated Argentine Dybala opens up on possible summer move to Chelsea
Chelsea target Paulo Dybala has played down transfer speculation stating his desire to stay at Juventus next season.
It is no secret that Chelsea are keen to find an adequate replacement for the departing Eden Hazard, who is all set to make that move to Real Madrid in a deal worth around £86 million, and they have been linked with a move for Dybala.
Recent reports in the media all suggested that the Argentine was set to leave Juventus this transfer window, especially as his brother and agent, Gustavo Dybala, claimed last week the forward wanted a move away from the Serie A champions in the summer amid links with Chelsea.
However, Dybala says he already made Juventus aware of his decision to stay at the club, regardless of who the new manager will.
“My brother spoke for himself, I talked to the club and Fabio Paratici [Juve sporting director] and they know what I think,” Dybala said on the Sky Sports website
“I want to stay at Juventus again next year, I want to continue playing here. I’m happy, I wear the Juve jersey with pride.
“It is obvious that Juventus must make their choices, make the team based around the coach that will arrive. But I want to stay here.”
Chelsea are of course still facing that transfer ban, meaning that they are still unbale to do any business over the next few months, but they are hoping to have that decision reversed.
If they do then they should still make a move to try and sign Dybala as the Argentine star will be sold by Juventus if the price is right, as the Italians are keen to revamp the squad after the departure of Max Allegri
In football it is all about the money and if Chelsea offer the right kind of money to both Juventus and Dybala, they will get the attacker.
And considering Dybala would bring goals and assists to the club, he could be a fantastic addition to the Chelsea side and the Premier League in general.
