Chelsea encouraged to sign £50m defender, £150 million man ‘is perfect for Chelsea’ ahead of possible move, £100m man is keen to join Chelsea

Rice keen to join Chelsea, Chelsea told to sign Ben White and Haaland message sent in Chelsea top news…

Chelsea’s prime target Declan Rice is very keen on a move to Stamford Bridge from West Ham.

Now the transfer window has been open for a while now but Chelsea fans have not seen too many transfers get announced, with the only real business players departing Stamford Bridge

But there are alot of rumours that Declan Rice is a player that Chelsea are still interested in.

The Hammers are demanding £100million for his services and that is a fee that Chelsea do not want to pay, although they are still open to trying to negotiate a deal for the England International

Now the DAILY EXPRESS claim the Stamford Bridge side are reported to be confident of securing a deal to bring Rice back to the club if they can agree a fee with the Irons

Rice, who also had an impressive Euro 2020 tournament, is also best friends with Mason Mount, having grown up together in the Blues’ academy, before Rice was released and picked up by West Ham.

Carlton Cole recently told Chelsea that he is worth that fee following his exceptional displays at Euro 2020 for the Three Lions.

He told talkSPORT: “Every time he kicked a ball in the Euros, I was like: ‘His price has gone up!’

“He’s becoming more and more desirable and for me, he’s a top, top player – we all know that at West Ham.

“He’s proved himself there and been under the mentorship of a great West Ham legend in Mark Noble.

“He [Noble] hasn’t had any caps for England but been a great model pro. Rice has been working under his tutelage and learning the ropes in how to be a leader on the pitch.

“He’s got the qualities of a centre-midfielder, but he can play as a centre-back as well. All it is with Declan is that he needs games at the highest level.”

Asked whether he was worth £50m, Cole responded: “I’m going double that. In this day and age that is.

“He’s so valued by West Ham and an integral part of this West Ham outfit.

“If you start selling your best players then you’ll be in trouble.”

Chelsea have been told to sign Ben White, who is reportedly heading to Arsenal this summer window

It is no secret that Mikel Arteta is keen to add another defender to the squad in the next few months, especially after David Luiz decided to leave the club, and it seems that Ben White is the number one target.

Regarded as one of the finest young defenders in the Premier League, White has been tipped to sign for one of the biggest clubs in the game, and Arsenal have beaten off the likes of Liverpool and Chelsea to get a deal done

It has been claimed that he will be completing a £50 million to Arsenal one a massive £100,000-a-week five-year contract, but Mills has opened up and claimed that he does not know why White has decided to make the move to the Emirates and has told Chelsea they need to make a move.

The Blues have also been linked with a move for White over the past few weeks but decided not to get a transfer deal done as they seemingly feel they already have enough cover in that back-line.

Mills Tweeted: ‘🏆 “If you go Haaland or Harry Kane, it’s a good chance of winning the league.”

‘🤔 “Would #CFC not be interested in Ben White? Surely he’s better than Andreas Christensen?”’

Roundup..

Look, White is certainly a player that has the ability to play for both Chelsea and ARSENAL, so it is easy to see just why both clubs are interested in a potential deal.

But Gunners fans will not be happy with Mills as they believe that White is perfect for them, but on the other-hand, Chelsea are the club that will be challenging for all major trophies next season

But it is his decision and he will only join Chelsea if they come calling

Bundesliga expert Jan Aage Fjortoft has claimed that Erling Haaland is perfect for Chelsea.

Haaland is one of the most talked about players in world football and a player that Chelsea really want to sign this transfer window, but his massive £150 million price tag has been causing real issues.

However, it is still believed that Chelsea are prepared to pay big money to get a deal done, while also paying him that £300,000-a-week wages that he reportedly wants.

The Blues should be able to raise at least half the funds they need to sign Erling Haaland by selling three first-team players, according to Bundesliga expert Jan Aage Fjortoft, and he has also claimed that the big man would be the perfect signing for the London giants

“I still think there is a chance that this could happen,” Fjortoft told ESPN FC.

“If you see it from the point of view of Chelsea, the management of Chelsea, because it’s not like you can always just give a call to [Roman] Abramovich and say ‘we need this money, we need this player’.

“If you have a look at them with Tammy Abraham, Hudson-Odoi, Ziyech – they will probably get, shall we say they will probably get half for Haaland in transfers fees from other clubs? Some desperate clubs at the end of the transfer period.

“So they have players to sell as well, so I think this could be a good business case for them and then we haven’t even started on how much they will be earning from being a Premier League contender and maybe winning the Premier League.

“So I think this is the perfect striker for them.”
