Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news and gossip that we think you guys may have missed today –

Feyenoord’s Quilindschy Hartman has confirmed that Chelsea have contacted him over a move to Stamford Bridge.

Reports circulated earlier this week that Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund are keen on making Ian Maatsen their player on a permanent basis after the Champions League final in a fortnight’s time.

The Dutchman made the move to Dortmund in the January window and has gone on to be one of the most impressive signings for the German giants – prompting talk that he could be given a chance back at CHELSEA.

But Should he leave, it appears a replacement has already been discovered in the form of Feyenoord’s Quilindschy Hartman. In a recent interview with ESPN, Hartman confirmed he had received contact from the Blues.

‘I don’t think they want me now, but they really wanted me. It actually started in the winter. They came to Feyenoord last winter break, but I actually didn’t want it at that time, because I had only just broken through and I only started playing everything in the first six months.

‘Also, with the Dutch national team and the European Championship coming up. So, there was no real question about it and it was also clear from Feyenoord: we were open to it in the summer, but not at all now. That has returned in recent months.

‘They really wanted me and I was certainly open to that, but now unfortunately things have turned out differently [due to an injury]. They [Chelsea] have wished me good luck and let me know that the interest will not stop. Who knows, we will see.’

Hartman may be having a decent season with the Dutch giants guys – but at the end of the day – Maatsen is a better left-back that should be given the chance at the club.

CHELSEA would be fools to let the man leave – that is for sure.

CHELSEA HAVE LUKAKU AGREEMENT –

Chelsea have a ‘verbal agreement with striker Romelu Lukaku that he will be sold this summer, according to journalist Ben Jacobs.

Lukaku has been in strong form since joining Roma and has scored 18 goals in all competitions this season. but is set to return to CHELSEA FC at the end of the season if he cannot agree a move to a new club.

Amid all the speculation and rumours – The Givemesport website have claimed that Chelsea have made the decision to allow Romelu Lukaku leave the club and he will not play for the Blues again.

Now Jacobs has opened up and claimed that CHELSEA have an agreement with Lukaku that he is free to leave the club on a permanent basis at some point during the summer transefer window.

“Chelsea want €45m (£38m) for Romelu Lukaku,” he told GIVEMESPORT . “Their position hasn’t changed since last summer.

“Al-Hilal had a bid for this amount accepted, but Lukaku wanted to stay in Italy. There is no formal release clause, but there is a verbal agreement between Chelsea and Lukaku that he will be sold if someone tables a bid for this amount.

“There remains interest from Saudi, but not from Al-Hilal anymore. The Napoli links could gather pace since their new sporting director Giovanni Manna was the driving force behind Lukaku’s proposed move to Juventus last summer.”

Lukaku has not had a bad season at Roma – he has been very impressive for the Italian side – but a move back to the Premier League should not happen – he needs to stay away from the English game.

A move to Saudi Arabia may not be a move that he would like – so that CHELSEA FC board will have a tough time trying to get him to make that move to the Middle East.

There will be a few more clubs interested in a move for the big man – but we would not be surprised to see that move happen – as Chelsea know that they could get some major money for the Belgian star.

So it has not come as a surprise that he has probably played his last game for the club and will probably pack his bags at the end of the season on a permanent basis.

CHELSEA FANS REACT TO MESSINHO NEWS –

Chelsea fans have taken to social media and reacted to the news that a deal has been struck for Messinho with Palmeiras.

Nobody knows if Mauricio Pochettino will still be the boss of CHELSEA by the end of the summer window – but that is not stopping Ted Boehly and CO. from getting the players that they feel could develop into one of the best in the world.

Now it seems that they are closing in on a potential deal for the young man, as according to journalist Ben Jacobs the Brazilian giants have accepted Chelsea’s latest offer for the 17-year-old – which will make him the most expensive transfer of a player from American continent to Europe

Here is what some fans have been saying about the incoming signing….

CHUCKS d’ OYO GUY: Is 65m not too much on him?

A.I.GIL ‘hope he can add to the squad and not make it worse just like Jackson

Boomin: He should come

Julius Amoah: Finally it’s happening

TRUTH: ‘Some big mouth CHELSEA fans said 150 for Osimhen is too high, while they rejoice in paying 65 for inexperience little boy from Farmers league

ta_amanii: ‘How much is money? In 2026, chelsea will build a solid first team with quality depth and still have players for sale worth at least £100M & above. You’re not ready for this business with the American tycoons. Just pay palmeiras and move unto the next one.

ryan4mj4eva: Crazy money. don’t know what to think. Hypes exciting but will he live up to his potential, how will he settle in England, can he handle the pressure & price tag? We already have so many players in his position, would the money be better spent on priority positions for now?

Aarie1: ‘He’s going to flop like Jackson

DerekRiper: ‘Feels like the Caicedo saga all over again🤦
