Chelsea favourites to sign world class act – ‘Maresca has personally asked for’

Chelsea are one of the clubs that could snap up the services of Raphinha from Barcelona.

During his time with Barcelona – Raphinha established himself as one of the most dangerous wingers in the Premier League and a man that was destined to play at the very highest level of the game.

Several European clubs have been closely monitoring the 27-year-old’s performances and after his recent success, a Premier League club submitted a €60 million bid for the player, according to recent reports from Diario Sport.

Now Fichajes.net claim Al Nassr, CHELSEA and Arsenal are the three big clubs that are competing for the signing of Raphinha, with the Blues leading the race for the Brazilian star.

The reports claim that incoming boss Enzo Maresca has personally asked for Raphinha to be signed by the Blues board this coming transfer window as he seeks to add some more quality to the side.

Look, there will be alot of rumours over the next few months about the future of Raphinha and to be honest – he probably will leave Barcelona. But is he the type of player that the board like to buy?

He is not a youngster anymore and probably does not have many more seasons at the top of the game – so his value will only decrease – it is an interesting link to the Brazilian but will the board take the risk?
