Chelsea have just signed ‘the answer’ after powerhouse completes move
Reporter Iomie Stanley has claimed that Chelsea may have just found themselves their answer to the problem up front
Now that the World Cup is over – focus can now turn to the January transfer window and the possible arrivals that could be making a move to Stamford Bridge
The Ivory Coast international scored 24 goals in 65 appearances – and his performance suggest that he is ready for that next stage of his career – and obviously the Chelsea scouts believe that he is ready for the club.
He has been hailed as the next Erling Haaland – has been compared to Didier Drogba and at such a young age – has plenty of time to score the goals that Graham Potter so desperately needs.
And if you believe the words of Stanley – Fofana has the potential to be a massive success at Stamford Bridge – he told icfootballnews: ‘The 1-0 and 4-0 losses to Man City over the past few days show just how much Chelsea are lacking a striker – someone that can hold the ball up and win things in the air.
‘Fofana may be young – may need a few more seasons to develop into a real class striker – but he has already proven that he can score goals and on a regular basis too.
‘Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Armando Broja have not been good enough – while Kai Havertz is simply not a striker and is more of a winger – so he cannot do the job.
‘Chelsea news to make sure that Fofana has the ability to make an impact – but if they can get the best out of the lad quickly – they have the midfielders and the creativity to create enough chances for Fofana.
‘And honestly – he could be the answer to the problems that Chelsea are having.’
