Chelsea chiefs have flown to Poland in order to launch a late bid to hijack Mykhailo Mudryk’s move to Arsenal .

Arsenal have already seen two bids rejected for the highly-rated winger who has dropped regular hints on social media that his preference would be a move to the Premier League leaders.

However – it has been claimed in recent days that a fee has been agreed between the two clubs and Director Edu has now flown out to Poland himself to try and wrap up the transfer signing of Mudryk.

Chelsea, however, according to Fabrizio Romano, are looking to blow Arsenal out of the water and are prepared to submit a €100m bid that would match Shakhtar’s valuation.

Romano insists that Arsenal have always led the race and have a long-standing agreement with the player, but Chelsea are intent on winning the race – and are redy to pay Donetsk the money that they desire.

This is massive news if Romano is correct as it seemed that Arsenal were all set to complete the signing of Mudryk and he was going to be a Gooner real soon.

Fans will be left stumped at the latest reports by Romano and they will be hoping that it is not true.

However – the fact that two of the Premier League’s biggest clubs are are after the lad suggests that he could be something special. But coming to the Premier League with all this hype surrounding his name is something he may feel to live upto.

We do not feel that he is ready and surely not for Chelsea – all the attention players get there is crazy. But to splash so much money on the lad is crazy – so it will be interesting to see just where he ends up this month
