Chelsea are reportedly confident of signing Achraf Hakimi in the transfer window after submitting an offer for the defender
Thomas Tuchel is a man that knows he needs to keep improving the side in the transfer window as he will need to add a bit more quality to the squad.
That has led to reports in the media that Chelsea are very interested in trying to secure a transfer deal for Hakimi, who is now regarded as one of the very best defenders in Seria A.
Hakimi helped Inter win the Seria A title this season, but the Italians are in debt and they must sell a number of players in the transfer window in order to balance the books, and Hakimi is a man that they will allow to leave
Now, According to Sky Sport Italia, both Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain have tabled offers of €60m (£51.5m) but the Serie A champions are holding out for a fee closer to €80m (£68.7m) for the Morocco international.
The Star states that Chelsea are “confident” they can win the race to sign the 22-year-old, who is also a regular for the Moroccan national team.
Considering that Chelsea already have one of the very best right-backs in the premier League, so it is a massive shock to see that Tuchel is looking to add another to the squad in the coming window.
However, Hakimi is a quality player that will bring alot of quality to the side, so it will be interesting to see if they are able to get him, as PSG will be very hard to beat
Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is a massive fan of Romelu Lukaku and would love to bring the Inter Milan striker back to the club, according to reports.
Lukaku spent three years of his career at Stamford Bridge between 2011 and 2014 but only made 15 first-team appearances, failing to score a single goal.
And Although his time at Manchester United, after a £75million switch, was not that successful, he has rediscovered his ruthlessness in Italy with Inter and become one of the most dangerous players in world football
The Belgium international has plundered 64 goals and 16 assists in 95 matches for the Italian giants and helped the club to a first Serie A title in 11 years last term, but with the Italians in financial trouble, they may need to sell a number of players in the transfer window
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel wants to add a prolific centre-forward to his squad to catapult the European champions into Premier League title contention next season, And Lukaku, who has 113 Premier League goals in 252 appearances added to 35 assists, is an option who Russian oligarch Abramovich is keen on per Eurosport.
Their report says the Chelsea owner is a huge admirer of Lukaku and is keen on the idea of bringing the Belgian back to the Bridge.
We are massive fans of Lukaku and believe that he is made for Italian football, so even though Chelsea would be a very good move for the player to make, he should stay put if he can as Inter give him everything that he needs.
Chelsea are looking to try and win the race to sign Raphael Varane from Real Madrid during the summer transfer window.
Thomas Tuchel is expected to be handed a massive transfer budget in the summer to add a world class defender and striker to the attack, and the Chelsea have been linked with a move for Varane.
Varane has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League this summer with reports that Real Madrid are willing to cash in to help raise some funds to nail down their top transfer targets
According to Mundo Deportivo, Real Madrid will definitely sell Varane this in the coming months, should he refuse to sign a new deal, and President Florentino Perez hopes to receive more than £60million for the defender – an easy fee for English sides to reach.
Madrid are believed to have offered Varane around £100,000-a-week to stay at Santiago Bernabeu, but he is reportedly seeking closer to the £200,000-a-week mark to commit to the club.
Quizzed on the speculation he is generating after linking up with the France squad for Euro 2020 duty, Varane recently told reporters: “This is not the time to talk about my future, I am focused on the selection, on this Euro, it is normal and logical to ask the question and for my part it is normal and logical to focus on the upcoming deadlines.
“We are all human beings. We can think about it. As for my personal case, I am focused on the objectives that we have in the France team, it is not a subject that I will discuss every day in my room at Clairefontaine.
“I am focused on my goal, and now is not the time to discuss it. If I have to talk about it, it will be directly with the people concerned.”
There has been some shock reports which have claimed that Thomas Tuchel is interested in a deal for Wolves star Adama Traore.
Tuchel is the man of the moment right now and is on top of the world after helping the club reach that top four spots and then add another Champions League trophy to that cabinet.
But despite all the quality players that the club currently have in the side, there has been talk for weeks that Thomas Tuchel is looking to improve the squad in key areas of the pitch and was hoping to be backed by the board.
Chelsea spent around £220m under Frank Lampard last summer, which was in part to make up for the fact that the Englishman had been operating under a transfer ban since his appointment from Derby County
But there has been many reports in the media over the past few days that Tuchel will be handed a massive transfer kitty to play with in the summer, and he is reportedly keeping an eye on Traore.
The Spaniard was a target for Antonio Conte back in 2017 but Tuchel wants competition for Reece James at right-wing back and feels the rapid former Barcelona ace is perfect for the role.
This is a shock to see that Traore is being linked with a move to Chelsea, but he is ready to play for one of the big Premier League sides. So if the Blues could get him for the right amount of money, he could be a very decent signing for the club.
