Chelsea wants £100M French attacker to be first Enzo Maresca signing – Giants ‘ready to do deal’
Chelsea have expressed a strong interest in current PSG player Ousmane Dembele
Enzo Maresca is a man that knows he needs to delve into that transfer kitty over the next few months and try to sign players that will be able to make a real difference to the side.
There has been some world class defenders linked – some big named Midfielders and some of the best striker all linked with a move to Maresca’s CHELSEA side – but so far – there has been no movement.
But now Fichajes.net claim Dembele is on the radar of the London club who are looking for a star capable of leading their new project. They would be willing to pay more than 100 million for the Frenchman.
After signing for the French side in the summer of 2023 – Dembele has had an inconsistent season with PSG and the Spanish publication suggest that they are now willing to let him leave over the next few months.
PSG are looking to make some big signings themselves after Kylian Mbappe departed the club and know that £100 million would go a long way in getting the players they want – but staying inside the financial fair play rules.

Dembele has pace, he has skill and he does have quality at times – but he is far too inconsistent and injury prone to be worth £100 million and Chelsea would be massive fools to pay that.
If the reports are true and Barcelona are keen to offload the player than that is because he is not good enough for them – so he clearly would not be good enough to compete in the Premier League on a weekly basis.
This could be some bad business by CHELSEA and one that they could regret if they do get a deal done.
