Chelsea ‘have approached’ World class Argentine about move to Stamford Bridge

CHELSEA approached former Tottenham Hotspur and PSG boss Mauricio Pochettino to see if he would be willing to replace current manager Graham Potter

Graham Potter was brought to the club in September in hope that he could turn this Chelsea side back into Premier League title contenders, but despite adding so many players to the squad, they are struggling.

And after the 1-0 loss to Southampton last weekend, there has been alot of rumours that Pochettino is a man that the club may look to employ over the next few weeks, if Potter cannot turn things around.

Southampton showed greater cohesion despite only having had five days to prepare under the leadership of caretaker boss Selles, who replaced the sacked Nathan Jones a week ago, was further indictment of the direction CHELSEA are taking under Potter.

Now – according to 90min, Chelsea approached former Tottenham Hotspur and PSG boss Mauricio Pochettino to see if he would be willing to replace current manager Graham Potter, however, he currently isn’t looking to take charge at Stamford Bridge.

Pochettino has been without a job since leaving PSG at the end of last season, and the report claims that some at CHELSEA feel he should replace Potter due to the Blues’ form this campaign.

Right now – the way things are at CHELSEA – there are not too many managers out there that are willing to take over the job at Stamford Bridge – but it is a shame that Pochettino has reportedly turned down a move to the club.

He really is a classy manager that has managed some of the best players in the game – so if the reports are true and he has turned down a possible move to the club – many fans will surely be disappointed.
