Chelsea Have Decided to hire Top Boss – Blues Can Striker for £120M? – Italian Feels Chelsea move ‘good Option’

Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news and gossip that we think you guys may have missed today –

It has been claimed that the Chelsea board have already made a decision on who they want to replace Mauricio Pochettino in the summer.

Recent reports circulating within the football fraternity have stirred controversy, suggesting that a faction of CHELSEA players has purportedly petitioned the club’s board to terminate the tenure of manager Mauricio Pochettino. Such claims, if validated, could potentially disrupt the stability and harmony within the club, raising questions about the underlying reasons behind such a drastic demand.

But when it comes to potential replacements, Ruben Amorim has frequently been mentioned as a potential candidate to take the role.

He is currently enjoying a very successful season yet again at Sporting Lisbon, and this has seen him come in for plenty of praise in his relatively short career in the game.

According to Transfer News Live Chelsea have decided that will appoint Ruben Amorim if Mauricio Pochettino leaves this summer.

Amorim has been spotted in London already this month, although it has been claimed that it was for a possible move to CHELSEA‘s rivals West Ham.

Amorim recently addressed the rumours:

“Completely, the only thing that annoys me is that they already had a replacement for me.

“That’s what got me the most upset, even today I told Viana (Hugo Viana, Sporting director of football) to calm down because it’s not like that. That’s the only thing I’ve paid attention to.”

Asked if the players are affected by the rumours, Amorim replied: “No, because it’s part of their lives. What affects the players is their own future.

“Everyone is thinking about themselves. That can interfere with the preparation of a game if they’re involved in talks with other clubs. It’s normal for players to go through that.

“When it’s the manager, they don’t think about any of that. And the manager is clearly Sporting’s manager, Sporting’s manager and only Sporting’s manager.

“And they know how much they want to win and I want to win titles for Sporting. So the work was the same, the preparation was the same and they’re clear that everyone is focused on winning titles.”

STUNNING KANE MESSAGE SENT –

Bayern Munich do not intend to sell Harry Kane, says Dietmar Hamann, but an offer of €120m-plus may be enough to alter that stance the likes of CHELSEA have been told.

After spending much of his career at Tottenham – Harry Kane made the big decision last summer to leave the Premier League and make the move to the Bundesliga giants in hope that he could win some silverware.

However – despite the fact he has broken the 30-goal barrier this season – Bayern will not be picking up any trophies this season unless they win the Champions League, which is very unlikely.

Ex-Bayern star Hamann, speaking in association with Freebets.com, has told GOAL:“He has got a contract. He is a very loyal guy, from what I hear. Is he happy here? I don’t know. Obviously he came here to win trophies, he’s got a chance to win the big one [the Champions League], but there is no guarantee that he does that.

‘I’d say it’s unlikely. I don’t think the club has got any interest to sell him. Whether he has interest to go back, I’m not sure. I wouldn’t think so, but strange things happen in football. The family is over now. Is he settled? I can’t answer that question. The question is, is he happy? Is he happy with how things are going? They haven’t got a manager for next season, they still don’t know who that will be.

‘Does a new manager want somebody else up top, which is a possibility? I’d say at the moment there is no hint of him going, but then again things can change. The bottom line is whether he’s happy. I think he’d be a lot happier if they were to win the Champions League!”

“Next year, if Leverkusen stays together, I think they will probably go into the season as favourites. Bayern Munich, you don’t know who is going to leave and they haven’t even got a manager yet.

‘I think Leverkusen will probably be favourites – for the first time in about 50 years that Bayern Munich isn’t favourite. There are no guarantees that he is going to win the league next year. He’s got to make a decision. I don’t think the club has got any interest whatsoever in selling him. If he were to go, it would take a lot of money. I don’t know who has interest – Manchester United have been mentioned, CHELSEA could do with a forward as well.

‘There is also the clause talk that he could go back to Spurs. This is something that could gather pace over the next weeks. There is no hint at the moment but there a lot of issues because Bayern don’t have a manager, you don’t know what will happen in the semis against Real, so you’ve got to keep an eye on it.

‘He’s got to do what’s right. He’s got a contract at Munich so they might say ‘we’re not going to sell, you can stay here’. Or Munich say ‘if somebody gives us the transfer fee plus 20, 30 or 40 million then we might think about it’, then it’s a different story.

‘For him to go to Munich and come back after one season, I think he is too big and done too much for the game in his career to be bothered about that.”

BIG DI ZERBI BOOST –

It has been claimed that Brighton Boss Roberto Di Zerbi sees Chelsea ‘as a good option’ for him ahead of a possible summer move

CHELSEA FC have been credited with an interest in the former Shakhtar Donetsk head coach, with Mauricio Pochettino enduring disappointing campaigns at Stamford Bridge this season.

The former PSG and Tottenham boss has not impressed like many had hoped for and has failed to get these young players to gel together enough to challenge for a Champions League place, which is what the board have been hoping for.

And American owner Ted Boehly could be thinking about making a move for a new boss in the summer, and the Italian is very highly-rated in the game

And the Caughtoffside website have claimed that De Zerbi is said to be a top target for Chelsea, and it is believed that the Italian feels Stamford Bridge is the “good option” for him.

De Zerbi recently spoke on being linked with managerial jobs elsewhere:

“I’ve worked in football for 30 years and I know if you’re playing well and if you’re doing well, the people speak about you and speak about the transfer market.

“I have the right experience to stay focused and to keep my eye only on Brighton. I have a contract and I love my players.

“For sure, we have to speak about the plan going forward because I work for the motivation.

“I’ve not spoken with Tony Bloom about the next target and the new plan, but in the next few days we will speak.”

Pundit Emmanuel Petit believes that Roberto De Zerbi would be the ideal candidate to step into the role if Mauricio Pochettino gets the sack.

“I hear critics about Mauricio Pochettino every week, do the fans want him sacked? It’s exhausting for the fans, players and staff to keep changing the manager. Restarting under a new coach again and again and again is tiring. Give time to Pochettino, CHELSEA need to stop signing and selling players.”

“If it comes to it, the only manager I can see replacing Pochettino is Roberto De Zerbi, De Zerbi lost half of his Brighton team and still played consistently with his ideologies and got his teams to play good football. If Chelsea are changing their players all the time, he can install a mentality in the club to play a certain way.”
