£150 million star Eden Hazard ‘has promised’ to stay at Chelsea on one condition this summer
Chelsea star Eden Hazard has promised to stay at Stamford Bridge if Antonio Rudiger plays like he did in the FA Cup final on Saturday.
The little Belgian superstar has been the subject of intense transfer speculation over the last few months, with talks that Real Madrid are readying a mammoth £150 million offer to acquire his services.
But the winger out all that talk to one side to step up against United, and hand Antonio Conte his second trophy in two seasons, as fans are now calling for the Italian to stay.
And Hazard joked after the game that he would stay at the club if Rudiger produced man-of-the-match performances for Chelsea in every game.
He said on the Metro website: ‘We have the World Cup, we have some days of holiday now – we don’t talk about next season now, we talk about holiday the World Cup!
‘I need Antonio Rudiger to play like this every game and then I stay. I promise I stay.’
Hazard is a world class winger that is very close to the same bracket as Neymar, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
But if Chelsea do not get the players that will improve the squad, and help Hazard reach his goals of winning more silverware, then he will not be staying with the club as every top player wants trophies, not to be languishing down in fifth in the Premier League.
