Belgian boss Martinez stuns Chelsea fans and makes big £150 million Hazard announcement!
Belgian boss Roberto Martinez has told Eden Hazard this summer could be the “best time” to leave Chelsea.
The little Belgian winger is now all set to pack his bags and leave the club for La Liga, with Real Madrid reportedly ready to spend around £150 million to try and acquire his services.
And he even opened up and admitted after their third-placed finish at the World Cup that he is ready to leave Stamford Bridge with Santiago Bernabeu his “preferred destination”.
Now Martinez has jumped on the band-wagon and urged his star man to make the move and ‘try something different’
Cadena Ser’s ‘El Larguero’ radio show: “It could be the best time [for Hazard] to try something different.
“He is a player who has maturity and a lot of leadership. His play is based on talent.
“Hazard could carry a new project anywhere in the world. He is at the best moment of his career. He could fit in any team in the world.
“Players need new challenges and new projects. Perhaps it’s a good time for [Chelsea] and for Eden [to split]. I would be very surprised if Chelsea didn’t have big offers for him right now.”
Hazard is the man who puts bums on seats over at Stamford Bridge and losing him would be a massive blow for the club, but surely they have a replacement already lined up as speculation the Belgian could leave has been in the media for weeks.
