Chelsea hold meeting to sign Brazilian – Potter wants £78k-a-week star at Chelsea – £105M man tipped for move
Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea fc news and gossip that we think you guys may have missed today –
Kevin Campbell has backed Man City to seal a deal for AC Milan winger and Chelsea target Rafael Leao next year.
With Blues boss Graham Potter looking to add some serious quality to that attack in the coming transfer windows – there has been alot of speculation that the Premier League giants are keen on Leao
AC Milan are reportedly preparing themselves for big-money offers in the region of £105million for their star man in January – and it seemed that Chelsea were the only serious contenders for the winger
And despite the fact that Man City have not shown too much interest in the player – Campbell has come out and suggested that it will be the Premier League Champions that win the race to sign Leao – he told Football insider: “The thing is, Leao would offer something that the other wingers at Man City do not.
“He will run in behind and stretch the pitch. [Raheem] Sterling and [Leroy] Sane used to do that.
“They were fabulous players for City and were difficult to deal with. They could come to feet or go in behind. That causes defences all sorts of problems.
“I understand why City are looking at Leao. He is a really good player. He has real pace.
“I could see it happening.”

Chelsea will not want to hear that Man City are now in the chase to sign the player – especially as it could now bump up his asking price in the coming windows
But if there is anybody that is able to compete with City for players – it will be Chelsea – they have the money and the pedigree to tempt him to Stamford Bridge guys
Potter wants striker –
It has been claimed that Graham Potter wants to keep powerhouse striker Armando Broja at Stamford Bridge
Broja had a brilliant season while on loan at Southampton last season and his performances led to Cheslea giving him a chance to lead that attack this season.
The Slough-born forward registered his first Chelsea goal in the 3-0 victory over Wolves last month.
He has not had much game time under Graham Potter – and that has led to all sorts of speculation that a number of clubs are interested in a potential deal – but despite all that – fans have been told that the Blues boss wants to keep hold of the powerhouse
Journalist Simon Phillips told GMS: “I don’t think a loan move will happen, and I also don’t expect a permanent move to happen because Chelsea now hold all of the power there.
“If any clubs enquire, I think they would price him out of a move because they rate him highly at the club.
“They want him to stay. Potter trusts him, not enough to start him regularly yet, but he trusts him to come on and make an impact and make a difference.”
Speaking about his lack of playing time this season recently, Broja said: ‘I’ll try and perform as much as possible on the pitch and in training to get chances.
‘The competitiveness is very big and I know it’s not going to be easy but it’s something I look forward to.
‘I play quite freely. I try and do my best. When the manager does put me on, I try and provide a goal or assist. You’ve just got to give your best for the team.
‘I try to look at the positives from it. Every day working with big footballers, it’s a positive impact for me as a football player.
‘I look forward to the opportunities [Graham Potter] does give me. It shows the manager does trust me.’
Quizzed about reports in the summer that he could have left Chelsea for a different club in the Premier League, Broja added: ‘There’s always talk.
‘You see it at every club. I was just focused on getting ready for the season and showing the manager what I can do. I wasn’t really too sure what was going on outside.
‘I see [the new contract] as a massive opportunity for me. This is my boyhood club.
“I want to do my best and give it my all to break into the starting lineup.
‘For me, it’s a big stepping stone from where I was last season to where I am now. That’s my aim, to get better.
“There’s not many better clubs [you can be at] to learn.’
Endrick meetings –
Chelsea are reportedly leading the chase to sign Brazilian sensation Endrick – after holding meetings about a possible deal
The 16-year-old striker has been heavily linked with a move to many of Europe’s top-flight sides lately as he continues to impress for boyhood club Palmeiras.
According to the Evening Standard, Endrick has had ‘several’ meetings with the Blues over a potential move to Stamford Bridge.
And The report states that Real Madrid think they’re leading the race to sign the teenage sensation but the west Londoners join PSG in an open transfer pursuit.
It’s said that Endrick’s father Douglas is heavily involved in deciding his son’s future and he’s believed to be working with the agents of Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior
Joe Cole has recently predicted Chelsea to be busy in the upcoming transfer window after club director David Barnard dropped an intriguing hint on the next couple of months.
Speaking to the Express, as quoted by the Metro, Cole claimed: “I think the work would have been done.
“There would have been processed but the clubs will go away for four weeks and they will be able to be meeting there’ll be talks of agents and if there is availability.
“We may see more business in this window because of that because it’s actually more time to actually think about them and put the deals in place.
“Sometimes in January, things don’t happen because of just because simply because of time constraints,” Cole added.
“We may actually see the club trying to get more business but it’s certainly something to watch for. It’s an unusual time.”
