Chelsea in contact over striker signing, Blues told £150M will get star signed, midfielder deal can happen for £40M

Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news, gossip and transfer latest from icfootballnews that we think you guys could have missed today..

According to the latest rumours – Chelsea have reportedly contacted Juventus and asked the Italians to be kept informed about a possible transfer deal for striker Dusan Vlahovic.

The Italian side are said to have put a €60million price tag on Vlahovic’s head which could ‘complicate’ any move for the Serbian international in the January window. The report adds that this price could decrease as the player’s contract ticks down as the club do not want to risk seeing him leave for a vastly reduced sum over the next year.

what is the latest.

According to a report from Fichajes, the London club is interested in the services of Dusan Vlahovic and they have asked to be kept informed about his situation at Juventus.

The Serbian striker has seven goals and an assist in his ten outings this season. His current deal with the Serie A giants runs until the summer of 2026 and they are confident that he will pen down a new deal despite turning down an offer earlier in the year.

if he doesn’t agree to sign a new contract offer before the end of the season, the Old Lady will look to sell him in the summer of 2025.

Would Dusan Vlahovic be a good signing for Chelsea?

Reporter Iomie Stanley claimed he could be a great signing for CHELSEA: “Vlahovic was a name hugely linked in connection with signing for the Blues in 2022 and has been regularly named in transfer windows since.

“Having scored 44 goals in 109 Serie A games for Fiorentina, he decided instead to make a £66.6million move to Juventus over the Premier League and is once again banging in the goals on a weekly basis.

“Juventus are under no pressure to sell the striker in the coming transfer window – but if there is an offer that they simply cannot refuse – then we are sure that he will go for less than that 100 million valuation.’

‘Vlahovic is a very good striker that could be a very good signing for CHELSEA – he is one of a number of options for Enzo Maresca – he could be a very good signing for the right price that is for sure.

CHUKWUEMEKA CAN LEAVE FOR £40m

Chelsea want the full £40m release clause to part with out-of-favour midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka, according to the latest reports as the star looks set to leave Stamford Bridge in the January window.

The midfielder has endured an injury-laden time at CHELSEA since signing from Aston Villa, and he has only made one appearance for the Blues this season, a 14-minute cameo in their 5-0 win against League Two outfit Barrow.

Now it has been claimed that Chelsea are open to letting the midfielder leave the club in the summer, and Marcesa has given the green light over a possible transfer move to happen.

Now the BBC sport website has claimed that Chelsea will allow the midfielder to leave the club if their £40 million price is met.

But there has mostly been interest in signing Chukwuemeka on loan, and Yahoo Sports understands that is also Milan’s preference as they look for low-cost options to bolster their midfield for this January, but the star could still get a move away in the winter window.

CHELSEA was a big move for the lad and one that has clearly not worked out – it was the wrong decision at the wrong time for the lad and his career so the best thing for him and the club is to depart.

there will probably be a few clubs interested – although it may be that Carney spends the next few seasons on loan moves rather than getting that permanent move that he needs.

He needs a move away for Chelsea for the sake of his career, that is for sure and he will be hoping that clubs are willing to pay £40 million to get a transfer deal done.

ISAK PRICE SET

Newcastle United have put a price tag in excess of £150m on Alexander Isak to ward off interest from the likes of CHELSEA, Liverpool and Tottenham, according to The Sunday Telegraph.

Newcastle signed Isak for £63m in the summer of 2022 from Spanish side Real Sociedad and he has four years left on his contract, and Isak is now regarded as one of the best strikers in the Premier League and a forward that all the big clubs have been linked with over the past 12 months, but that £110M asking price has been a real problem for the chasing clubs.

It has been claimed that Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham could make a move in the January window and were reportedly ready to make an offer of £60-80 million in order to tempt Newcastle into getting a transfer deal done.

Isak has subsequently scored 11 goals in 16 Premier League appearances this season and is rediscovering his best form, having scored four of those in his last two matches, and Newcastle now want a whopping £150 million before they will allow the striker to leave the club.

Eddie Howe recently said Newcastle have no plans to sell the 25-year-old after his hat-trick in the 4-0 win at Ipswich earlier in December.

“There is no part of me or anyone at Newcastle that wants to let Alex go,” Howe said. “He’s part of our long-term plans. Personally, I don’t see that being an issue,” he said of potential interest in the January window.’

Isak is quality, he is a striker that is destined to play for one of the big teams in Europe, whether it is the Premier League, Spain or Italy, he will get that big move.

However -£150 million is crazy money and nobody will want to pay that, so it may be that clubs wait for Isak’s contract to run down over the next few seasons and then make a move, he is still only young and has plenty of time before making that big move
