Chelsea in talks get shock deal done – £500k-a-week star makes Chelsea decision – £80M man tipped Chelsea move
Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news and gossip from icfootballnews that we think you guys may have missed today featuring Victor Osimhen – Kepa and Jarrod Branthwaite…
Chelsea and Bournemouth has reportedly held talks over a deal for Kepa – and the Spaniard star is reportedly keen to make the move after holding talks with Cherries boss Andoni Iraola
At the beginning of last season Real Madrid made the shock decision to take Kepa to the Bernabeu on a season long loan after Thaibut Courtois picked up a serious injury which kept him out of action for most of the season.
The Spaniard had some decent performances for the La Liga Champions throughout the season – but he lost his spot between the sticks to Andriy Lunin towards the back end of the season and ultimately was sent back to CHELSEA once his loan deal expired.
The stopper was very keen to stay at Madrid and was hoping that some sort of deal could be sorted between the two clubs – but the Spaniards made the decision that they no longer wanted to keep hold of Kepa – and now he looks like a player that is lost in the wind.
There is, however, still interest from the Saudi Pro League, and Chelsea are ready to sell Kepa for around £15 million – which would mean they take a big £57 million loss to get him out the door.
But now Bournemouth are now looking to seal a loan and boss Iraola has spoken to his fellow Spaniard to convince him to come.
Kepa has had assurances that he will be first choice keeper as is eager to move to the South coast and end his current Chelsea nightmare.

Kepa is seemingly done at the top of the game already – no clubs are showing that much interest in the Spaniard – so if Bournemouth are ready to take a chance on the Spaniard – he needs to make it.
He is not wanted at CHELSEA – so he definitely needs to make sure that he leaves the club this summer.
OSIMHEN MAKES CHELSEA DECISION –
There seems to be a shock twist in all the rumours of Victor Osimhen making a move to Chelsea this summer window as the Napoli star is said to be refusing a move to London and the Blues.
Once again this summer CHELSEA have been one of the most active sides in the Premier League and have spent over £200 million on players that they believe wikl help drive the club forward.
However – with only a few days left of the transfer window to go – there has been alot of speculation in the media that the Blues are still keen to add a new striker and a new defender to the side, with Victor Osimhen a player the club reportedly wants.
But despite the many reports which have claimed that he would like to make the move to Chelsea – Italian publication Corriere dello Sport are reporting that Napoli are exploring a possible deal with the Blues involving Romelu Lukaku, but the Nigerian does not want to move, especially on loan.
Football.london’s Isaac Seelochan says: “A striker is possibly the only position Chelsea need to look at with Nicolas Jackson yet to convince, even after his goal against Wolves on Sunday. Osimhen is someone they’ve been heavily linked with and it would be great to see him play in the Premier League.
“It’s a failure of Chelsea’s recruitment strategy that they have signed so many players but haven’t got a reliable number nine. And if these reports are correct, Osimhen isn’t too keen on joining what has been a chaotic project at Stamford Bridge.”

Another day, another Victor Osimhen rumour that involves CHELSEA – this has gone on all summer and Blues fans are probably sick of hearing this kind of report – they just wants a striker signed.
The Blues have a chance to sign one of the best striker sin the game for less than his £111 valuation and should take it – but if he doesnt want the move to the club – then they need to move on and go for a striker that they can sign.
BRANTHWAITE TIPS FOR BLUES MOVE –
It has again been claimed that Everton star Jarrad Branthwaite could end up signing for Chelsea this summer, as reports have claimed that the Blues are still seeking to add a defender to the squad..
The London side could add a centre-back to their ranks this summer after Thiago Silva’s exit, and Everton could find themselves forced to sell at least one star.
Branthwaite is said to be happy to stay at Goodison Park, while Everton are also in talks with Dominic Calvert-Lewin over a new deal.
CHELSEA are keen on the defender, who Everton value in the same range as Harry Maguire was when United paid £80m, a world-record fee for a centre-back in 2019.
Everton may need to cash in on players in the summer but the report claims they are are adamant there will be no fire sale and it would take a huge offer to contemplate letting Branthwaite go.
Everton are looking to raise funds with alternative departures to ensure that they do not have to part ways with their No. 32, though they are said to be willing to entertain offers in the region of more than £80million, according to recent reports on the Independant.
Bookmaker Betfair believes Branthwaite is a player that Chelsea are most likely to sign at some point in this transfer window, as he is a player that they believe could turn into a world class star.
And amid all the speculation and rumours – reporter Iomie Stanley has opened up and claimed that Branthwaite would be perfect for the club: “If I was looking for a young centre-back at an elite club in Europe, he would be top of my list.
“He absolutely will not be cheap, even though because CHELSEA are not going to be the only club looking at him in the summer. He’s going to cost a fortune, but he is the perfect type of signing that the board like to make.
“There are very few clubs in world football that could afford to buy Jarrad Branthwaite, but if he makes the right decision he could go very far in the game”
