Chelsea get Dembele boost, Blues make Gavi contact and stunning Mbappe hijack to happen in Chelsea roundup…

Fabrizio Romano has told the likes of Chelsea that Ousmane Dembele is free to leave Barcelona if he cannot agree a new deal, with reports claiming Chelsea have opened talks.

Dembele has greatly frustrated since arriving at the Camp Nou. Due to a combination of both poor form and persistent injuries, he has made just 126 appearances for the Spanish giants, scoring 30 goals

However, there has been some shock speculation in the media that Chelsea may be open to the idea of bringing him to the Premier League in order to add a bit more of a goal-threat to that Attack.

Dembele enjoyed his best form at Dortmund under current Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel, so it would not be a surprise to see the two reunited at Stamford Bridge, especially as Chelsea know they may be able to get the Frenchman for a bargain

Dembele is out of contract at the end of the current campaign and talks between player and club over a Nou Camp extension have recently ground to a halt following the Frenchman’s substantial demands.

The winger is reportedly pushing for an annual salary of £25million and a separate signing bonus of £25m, while his agent is believed to have stipulated a commission of £13m – demands which have been deemed ‘crazy’ by the Barcelona hierarchy, according to reports in Spain.

With a departure now appearing imminent, Chelsea have emerged as one of the frontrunners in the race for his signature having held discussions with the player this month, according to SPORT.

Xavi has pulled no punches when delivering the latest on the winger, who is now deemed free to leave the club if he doesn’t sign a new deal ‘immediately.’

As per Fabrizio Romano, the Barca legend said: “We can’t wait for Ousmane. [He] renews the contract or a solution to sell him must be found immediately”.

“I don’t consider sending him to stands. He says he wants to stay but then he doesn’t sign.”

He then added: “The message is clear. Ousmane Dembele has to sign a new contract or we find a way to sell him in January. No other way.

“I also wonder about agent is talking the way he is and Dembele, on the other hand, telling me he wants to stay. I can’t understand.”

Chelsea’s Marina Granovskaia has been told to hijack Real Madrid’s Kylian Mbappe plan, shock reports have claimed

The exciting Frenchman, who is regarded as one of the finest players in world football, is the subject of transfer speculation right now as PSG know that they need to tie him down to a new contract, especially as his current deal runs out at the end of 2022.

The delay has intensified speculation about whether he will eventually push for a move to Spain or England, where the likes of Real Madrid and Manchester City and Chelsea are said to be keen on acquiring him

However, it has been reported many times that Madrid currently lead the chase to secure a transfer deal for Mbappe, as they are in need of a new superstar and the Frenchman is keen on a move to La Liga.

But Football.London have claimed that Chelsea will have the chance to secure a transfer deal for Mbappe in the summer should he fail to agree the personal terms that he currently wants

The world knows that Madrid are not financially sound right now, and considering he will want around £500-600,000-a-week wages, he would be a very expensive buy for the Spaniards, even if arrives on a free.

But it’s no wonder to see former Chelsea player Frank Leboeuf recommend to the Blues hierarchy the one attacking signing that would help close the gap at the top of the table to Manchester City.

Leboeuf said on ESPN FC’s Extra Time programme: “Kylian Mbappe. The guy is free next summer and when I see the players up front, obviously Kylian Mbappe would make a huge difference for Chelsea, yeah.”

Look, if Mbappe does come onto that transfer market in the window, Chelsea have the financial power to beat off all clubs, even the likes of City and Madrid.

So if there is a chance to sign up Mbappe, they should take it

Chelsea have made enquiries about the potential availability of Barcelona’s 17-year-old wonderkid Gavi

Gavi is regarded as one of the most promising young players in Europe and Barca want him to be a fixture of their team for the next decade and more

Despite the fact that he is stull very young, the teenager has already established himself in the first team at Camp, starting 13 La Liga matches this season, while he has also earned four caps for the Spanish national team.

However, the Spanish giants risk losing Gavi – who only has a contract until 2023 and is still on youth terms – and European rivals have started to circle, including the likes of Chelsea.

It is no secret that Chelsea like to splash the cash and sign some of the best young players in the game, and they have caught on to the fact that Gavi has real potential to develop into a star of the game

And according to Spanish newspaper Sport, Chelsea are extremely interested in the midfielder and have already been sounding out his camp, with the academy starlet ‘swimming in offers’.

Gavi has a release clause of €50million (£41m), which may seem steep for a 17-year-old but is seen by many as a bargain for a player who is expected to have an enormous future in the game.

Barcelona are fully aware of the interest in their young midfield gem but have been assured by the player that his preference is to remain at Camp Nou.

Chelsea can make all the contact they want in a bid to land the young man, but at the end of the day, it will be very hard to prise such a talent away from a club like Barcelona, even if you are a massive team like Chelsea

We cant see him moving to Chelsea anytime soon
