Chelsea in talks with Napoli over £17m man, £63 million dream signing that could make Chelsea move in January, New signing has vision to help Blues win title and Kepa claim
Chelsea could make Haaland move, Chelsea in Emerson talks, Kepa could prove Chelsea wrong, Ziyech has vision to help win title in Chelsea roundup..
Marina Granovskaia could look to bring Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland to the club in the January transfer window.
Haaland became one of the hottest properties in European football at Red Bull Salzburg in the first half of last season and That earned him a mega money move to Dortmund, where he continued the scoring, with his performances or the club firmly establishing him as one of the best in the game right now.
He has been heavily linked with a move to Premier League giants Manchester United, but it seems that Chelsea are ready to flex their financial power in the coming transfer windows and try to land the dream signing for Frank Lampard.
Lampard spent over £230million bolstering his squad during this summer’s transfer window, as He poached Timo Werner from RB Leipzig, Kai Havertz from Bayer Leverkusen and Hakim Ziyech from Ajax.
But there’s one man missing from his dream front line, as reports on the DAILY EXPRESS WEBSITE have claimed Chelsea want former Manchester United target Haaland to lead the line, and they are ready to pay his £63 million release clause.
The reports adds, With Olivier Giroud’s Chelsea future looking increasingly uncertain, they will need to replace the France striker.
Kepa Arrizabalaga remains capable of proving “everybody wrong” at Chelsea, claims Asmir Begovic, amid speculation he will leave the club.
It is no secret in the media that Frank Lampard is not a massive fan of Kepa and wanted to make sure that Chelsea managed to secure a new stopper in the transfer window, with the club forking out just £27 million for Edouard Mendy.
That has led to alot of speculation that Kepa will not be one of the players that Lampard looks to sell in the coming transfer windows in order to raise some funds to continue adding to his already impressive squad.
Begovic admits that things have not worked out as hoped for Kepa at Chelsea but he believes that the under-fire keeper will silence his critics at some stage, be that at Stamford Bridge or elsewhere.
The former Blues keeper told talkSPORT: “I don’t think it’s gone to plan for everyone.
“These situations are never straightforward. If you spend a big transfer fee it doesn’t mean everything is going to work out; there are a lot of factors into making a move work and making an impact at a club.
“Mendy has come in and done really, really well, I think he’s really solidified that position.
“He’s been impressive, he’s been a joy to watch to be honest and he’s someone I really enjoy watching.
“But can Kepa still prove everybody wrong? Possibly.
“I think Kepa is a really good goalkeeper, he played really well in Spain before his move to Chelsea and it’s obviously been a bit of a tricky time for him.
“He’s got really good quality and I’m sure he’ll be a huge success, whether it’s at Chelsea or somewhere else.
“When you have that equality it’s only going to be matter of time before things turn around for him again in a positive way.”
Hakim Ziyech boasts the “vision” to turn Chelsea back into Premier League title contenders, claims Cesc Fabregas.
Chelsea were the biggest spenders in the transfer window and spent over £200 million on improving their squad in hope that they could close the gap on Liverpool and Manchester City this season.
Ziyech was one of the players that was signed in the transfer window, but had a very slow start to life in England as he needed to recover from injury, but over the last few weeks, he has proven himself to be a very effective player for the Blues.
And Fabregas believes that Ziyech, along with fellow new boy Timo Werner, could fire the Blues into a race for the most prestigious of domestic prizes, he told 90min of Ziyech: “He’s a very good player. He has this vision that you need in a top team like Chelsea, who want to win and be champions.
“You could see that they were lacking ideas last season and maybe at the beginning of this season, but with Ziyech, you can see that he has this last pass.
“It’s not only that he sees it, it’s that he makes it right, at the right time. That’s the decision-making that we talk about nowadays.
“Why are coaches so tactical? Because they see the decision making of the players is not that good, so they always need to teach them what to do.
“Before, I believe that coaches were not as on top of the players as they are now, they felt that maybe there was not as much need because the players already saw it themselves, but I believe that Ziyech is one of these players.
“He makes things happen, things that the defenders don’t expect. They don’t expect the pass, you catch them sleeping and you have someone like Timo Werner making great runs in behind.
“I think this is where Chelsea could be so powerful this year.”
Chelsea and Napoli are reportedly in talks over a loan deal for Emerson Palmieri ahead of the January transfer window
With all the players that Chelsea boss Frank Lampard signed in the simmer transfer window, there are now a number of players at the club that are no longer needed at the club, and Palmieri is one of those players.
He has never really made the impact at the club that many had hoped and has constantly been linked with a move away from the club, despite all the speculation, he has stayed at the club over the past few windows.
He has been linked with a move back to Italian football over the past few windows, and amid all the transfer speculation, and now Repubblica claims the Italy left-back, 26, could be set to join Tiemoue Bakayoko at the San Paolo this winter.
Emerson joined Chelsea from Roma in January 2018 for £17.5m but has never really made the impact that he would have liked, and only recently admitted that he could actually leave the club in the transfer window.
As quoted by Calciomercato, the Italian defender said: “Here at the national team I play, I have fun and I’m fine.
“The coach told me that the best solution for me is to play, at Chelsea or in another team, let’s wait for the next two months and see what will happen.
“Unfortunately I’m not playing at Chelsea, but I’m calm, I think things can improve in London or in another place.
“There was some interest in me but not concrete things. I’d like to return to play in Italy but I can’t say if it will happen in January or in five years.”
Look, there are players that can be sold by Chelsea in the coming windows that would help raise money for the club in order to get new signings that will improve the squad, so although he is a Chelsea player, fans will surely not be too unhappy if Palmieri does decide to depart the club in January or the summer
