£200 million goal-machine tells Chelsea ‘he wants to win trophies’ as Lampard lines up swoop

Chelsea target Harry Kane has hinted his future remains at Tottenham – if they can win trophies.

Regarded as one of the best strikers in the game right now, Kane has been in the transfer headlines for the past few weeks as many believe that this could be his last season at Tottenham if they once again fail to pick up some silverware.

Spurs are one of the most promising and exciting sides to watch in the English game, but despite all their talent and all their quality, they have been unable to pick up any trophies under the guidance of Maurizio Pochettino, meaning that a number of clubs, including Chelsea, are circling for a potential deal.

Chelsea may have the brilliant Tammy Abraham up front, but the English striker cannot do all the scoring himself and reports have suggested that Chelsea will be keen to add another striker to their front line I the coming windows.

And Kane has opened up and admitted that he may be open to leaving Spurs, if the club fail to win any silverware, he told SKY SPORTS: “I’ve made it clear that I’m at the stage of my career where I want to win trophies, I’ve made it clear I want to win them here and it’s a big year for this.

“Realistically, we look at the Champions League and the FA Cup to try to do that. We will see how that goes and, from my point of view, I will keep doing what I’m doing and keep fighting for this club on the pitch.

“The gaffer has won at every club he has gone to, there’s no hiding away from that. He wants to win, he’s a proven winner.”

Now Chelsea have the very exciting Tammy Abraham in the squad and he is scoring goals for fun right now in a Chelsea shirt, so signing someone like Kane at the end of the season could potentially jeopardize his quality and starting place in the side.

However, if Kane does decide to leave and Chelsea offer the right amount of money, how could they turn down the chance to sign one of the best in the business right now?

It will be interesting to see where Kane could end up, as there will be a few that are willing to meet his massive £150 million price tag.
