Sevilla star Jules Kounde has been spotted in London ahead of his possible move to Chelsea – it has been revealed
He featured 32 times for Sevilla in La Liga this season, playing a significant role in the Spanish giants retaining the best defensive record in the league – with his impressive displays attracting Chelsea
It is no secret that Thomas Tuchel will need to delve into that transfer kitty in the transfer market and add a couple of defenders that will replace the departing Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen
After failing to agree new contracts with Chelsea – both Christensen and Rudiger have agreed moves to La Liga this summer – which will leave Tuchel very short at the back
Recent reports in the media have revealed that Kounde has agreed personal terms with Chelsea -reportedly – and a fee of £59 million has been agreed with Sevilla – so it is expected that the Frenchman arrives at the club.
Now – Chelsea fans have spotted Kounde in London and have even taken a picture with the gifted defender.
The Blues will not be able to complete a transfer deal until their takeover of the club is announced – but once that is done – it is expected that a deal for Kounde will be announced soon after

Look – we have said on many occasions that Kounde is a very gifted young defender that has the potential to develop into one of the very best centre-halves in the game – if he makes the right career choices
Chelsea is a massive move for him to make – so fans will be hoping that a deal is announced soon – and he is as good as many people believe he is
But he will not be the only player arriving in the transfer window as a number of players are expected to be signed by Tuchel to help close that gap on Man City and Liverpool
