Agent confirms £40M Unit is moving in the summer – Boehly wants to wrap up Chelsea deal

The agent of Ajax star Mohammed Kudus has dropped a major hint over the future of the CHELSEA transfer target.

The 22-year-old Ghana attacker has acquired a long-list of admirers after scoring 22 goals in 48 matches for club and country this term.

He remains under contract until 2025 but sparked speculation that he could be set for a move by recently snubbing a new one-year extension.

Incoming Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino is keen to add to his squad in the summer window and has reportedly added quite a few players to that shopping lost – although Kudus has not really been one of them – he is more of a Ted Boehly target.

Recent reports have claimed that he has claimed that he has “made the Dutch side aware of his intention to exit” once the transfer window re-opens

And now his agent has confirmed his client is more than likely set to leave in the close season.

‘I think it is best for both Ajax and Mohammed that he makes a transfer now. Now is the right time,’ said his agent Jennifer Mendelewitsch.

Ajax are expected to demand at least £40million for Kudus – But that asking price “might be influenced by which teams are in for him”.

Is Kudus a very good player – yes he is.

Will he add to most squads that he joins – Yes he will.

But will he be a good signing for CHELSEA , who are looking to compete against Manchester City for that Premier League title next season, probably not.

The Blues needs some world class stars that will send statements to the rest of the League – Kudus is very good – but he is not that signing that would worry Pep Guardiola of the rest of the big teams.
