‘nothing more we can do’ Boss Nagelsmann has huge Timo Werner transfer message for Chelsea and Liverpool

RB Leipzig boss Julian Nagelsmann admits there is nothing more he can do to try and convince Timo Werner to stay, with Chelsea and Liverpool keen.

Both Liverpool and Chelsea are reportedly seeking to improve their squads when the transfer window opens up in just a few weeks time and both been linked with a £68 million move to try and sign Werner

German striker Werner, who is rated as one of the hottest prospects in Europe, has recently indicated his desire to leave the Bundesliga, opening the door for teams like Chelsea and Liverpool to swoop in and try to get a deal done.

Now amid the transfer speculation, boss Nagelsmann has come out and revealed that there is nothing else he can do to convince the 29-goal hitman to stay during the summer transfer window.

Nagelsmann said: “There is nothing we can do about it. He knows what he has in Leipzig and also what he has with me.

“I show him that — he gets many chances to develop himself.

“I don’t know if it will help him that much if I tell him every day.

“A player has to feel that he can get better. If he doesn’t feel that, it wouldn’t do any good if I kept on telling him to stay here.

Werner is a brilliant little striker that has a big future in the game and it will be very interesting to see just where he ends up, as both these clubs would love to have him in the squad.

It will be a big decision to make, and Werner needs to make the right one as he needs to join a team that will play him on a weekly basis, but also help him deal with the pressure of making that big money move to the Premier League.

As we said, it will be interesting to see just here the man ends up
