£89 million Hazard fee agreed as Chelsea fans to see superstar deal wrapped up in coming days

Eden Hazard is to seal his move to Real Madrid this week after the Spanish club agreed a fee with Chelsea, report the Guardian.

After months of transfer talk and speculation regarding the future of Hazard, the Europa league final win against Arsenal seems to be his last game in a Chelsea shirt.

He is all set to get his dream move to Madrid in the coming days and the chance to work with his boyhood idol, Zinedine Zidane, who is expected to do a number of world class deals this summer.

Now the Guardian has claimed Real and Chelsea are claimed to have thrashed out an agreement which will see the Spanish side pay in the region of €100m (£88.5m) plus add-ons.

It is far less than the £200 million Chelsea wanted just 12 months ago, but considering he will be out of contract next summer, it is a big amount of money for Chelsea.

The Belgian playmaker will leave west London after seven hugely successful years at the club, winning the Premier League twice, one FA Cup and two Europa League titles.

It is no secret that Hazard is the clubs biggest and most exciting player, but his departure will not spell the end for Chelsea.

They have just signed American Christian Pulisic, who is regarded as one of the finest talents in the game and the ideal man to replace Hazard in the long-run.

He may need time to adjust to the English game, but he already has shown the ability to find the net on a regular basis and also create for his team-mates.

Chelsea are a big club with more than one player, and now that Hazard is leaving, maybe they will become a more complete team, much like Liverpool when Philippe Coutinho left for Barcelona.

Hazard will be missed by many Chelsea fans, but they will surely understant his reasons for wanting to leave the club and make that big move to La Liga, especially after achieving so much during his seven years at the club.
