Chelsea make £50M transfer decision – Chelsea announce striker has signed until 2027 – £107M star WILL BE a Chelsea player

Here is a roundup of the latest Chelsea news and gossip that we think you guys could have missed today –

Chelsea have decided against pursuing a deal for out-of-favour Arsenal star Aaron Ramsdale.

Despite having a very good first season at the Emirates – Ramsdale was pushed down the pecking order at the Emirates last season after the Gunners decided to buy David Raya on loan for the year.

The Spanish stopper came in and impressed so much that he established himself as the best stopper at the club and the man that won the golden glove – which prompted Arsenal to make the decision to keep him at the club on a permanent basis.

CHELSEA have been linked with a move for Ramsdale for the last few windows and are still interested, if you believe the reports, as they are still looking to improve their stopper situation at the club.

Tosin Adarabioyo, Marc Guiu, Caleb Wiley, Renato Veiga, Omari Kellyman and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall have already been signed this summer and Stamford Bridge bosses are determined to further strengthen before the transfer deadline

But the club have now ruled out the possibility of signing Ramsdale, according to The Athletic.

Ramsdale was know that his time at Arsenal is up and once that summer window opens up – there will be quite a few offers for him to leave the club , he is too good to be sitting on the bench.

He could be a very good signing for the likes of CHELSEA So it is a shame to see that the Blues have made the decision to not make a move for the Gunners star – as we just said – he could have been a very good addition to that Chelsea side for the right price.

ENZO STAYING –

It is said that Chelsea are no considering the sale of Enzo Fernandez and he will stay at the club this summer window.

Fernandez faces disciplinary proceedings at Chelsea after posting a video on social media that the French Football Federation said included ‘racist and discriminatory language’.

Fernandez, who completed a £107m move to Chelsea in February 2023, said he was ‘truly sorry’ for the video, but he could yet be punished by Chelsea and FIFA over the incident, and Chelsea have been told to get rid of the player.

However – it has been claimed that Chelsea have made the decision to keep hold of the midfielder , who still has a book value of £90million which makes him an expensive asset.

Tony Cascarino believes only his departure from west London would satisfy some of his team-mates – Speaking on talkSPORT, he said: ‘It’s going to be tricky. I look back at when I was at Chelsea in the 90s and I’m not sure that dressing room would be okay with what Enzo Fernandez did.

‘That’s a tricky one to handle. I think CHELSEA have got a major decision on whether they actually keep Enzo Fernandez.

‘Having players not happy with a guy in the dressing room, I’m not sure there will be many that comfortable with some of the things that have gone on.

‘There’s no excuse for that to go out. It’s not going to sit well with the other players is it?

‘I don’t know how you can handle it because there will be players who can’t forgive. There might be some who can move on despite not liking what happened.

‘You don’t need everyone to like each other at a club but this is a really, really tricky one. Some players won’t want to move on or make it work.

‘He’s going to have to apologise to the squad face-to-face as well and maybe then there will be a bit more forgiveness.’

‘It’s quite easy to see where he could go: Saudi Arabia. They’re prepared to pay big fees and big wages.’

CHELSEA ANNOUNCE MORGAN DEAL –

Chelsea striker Jimmy-Jay Morgan has agreed a new contract until 2027, the Blues have confirmed today

The Blues posted on the club website: ‘Signed from Southampton in January 2023, Morgan enjoyed a productive 2023/24 season for the Blues. He netted 16 times for our Under-21s, including an impressive hat-trick in a 3-2 Premier League 2 victory over Reading in January.

‘Morgan also made four appearances in the FA Youth Cup for our Under-18s and netted in a 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace in the fifth round.

‘Congratulations, Jimmy-Jay!’

Speaking after signing his contract, Morgan said: ‘I am extremely happy to extend my stay. Who wouldn’t be, it’s CHELSEA!

‘Ever since joining the club, I have felt comfortable in the environment, which makes you confident enough to push yourself to new limits and get the best out of you. I’m grateful and very lucky to be part of this community.’

‘Completing last season was significant for me as it was my first full season back since my surgery. Finishing as top goal scorer was a huge achievement, but I want to repeat that again this season – I forgot to mention, I am very ambitious!

‘But along with performing well, I have recently learned the importance of maintaining a positive state of mind. Holding a strong mental attitude is crucial and can take you just as far as being a talented player on the pitch.

‘I feel really fit physically and mentally I am in a steady place. My headspace is completely focused and filled with motivation.’
