Chelsea to sign ‘ELITE’ target on big time agreement – just like Nkunku?
According to respected journalist Ben Jacobs, Chelsea could explore a pre-contract agreement to sign Napoli striker Victor Osimhen.
CHELSEA are in need of delving into that transfer kitty once again this winter and adding a striker to the attack that has the ability to score goals on a weekly basis, and Osimhen is reportedly top of the shopping list.
Osimhen has been heavily linked with a move to the Blues and indeed a multitude of other top clubs across Europe. Chelsea’s Premier League rivals Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal have also been tipped to sign the talented Nigerian.
He is regarded as one of the best strikers in the game and despite the fact he has only just agreed a new contract, there has been talk that an offer of £112 million could get a deal done for the man.
The Nigerian star recently signed a new long-term contract with the Italian champions, but he could still leave this summer due to a release clause of £112 million included in the renewal.
In an update on Simon Phillips’ Substack, Phillips has now revealed that it would be impossible for Chelsea to sign Osimhen in January and a summer transfer is more realistic.
The journalist went further to say that the Blues could secure a pre-contract agreement for next summer with Napoli, something which they did for Christopher Nkunku last winter.

Blues fans would love to see Osimhen make the move to CHELSEA in the January window – he is needed. But it is much more likely that he moves at the end of the season as Napoli know they could get alot more money for the man.
Osimhen is the top target for Chelsea – so it will be interesting to see just who they try and sign as we are sure the Nigerian star is not moving this month.
