Eat my dust! Sarri ‘makes offer’ to sign Arsenal, Liverpool and Man United target Pulisic for Chelsea

Chelsea have reportedly made an offer to sign up £70 million rated Borussia Dortmund star Christian Pulisic ahead of the January transfer window.

Regarded as one of the finest talents in world football, the gifted 20-year old American has reportedly caught the attentions of Blues boss Maurizio Sarri over the last few weeks with the Italian looking to bolster his attack in the coming transfer window.

Despite having the likes of Eden Hazard, Willin, Pedro, Alvaro Morata, Jorginho and Mateo Kovacic, Chelsea are lacking that out-and-out winger that could add real creativity and width to the side, something Pulisic would add if he made the move.

And amid speculation the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool are also interested in sealing a transfer deal for the American, the London Evening Standard has claimed the Blues have made an offer in an attempt to land the winger in the January window but that Dortmund want £70m for the player, even though he is in the final 18 months of his contract.

Pulisic has been integral for Dortmund this season, helping the unbeaten German club climb to the top of the Bundesliga table and the Germans are unwilling to let the exciting 20-year old leave half way through the season when they have a great chance to win the League.

Pulisic has recently announced he will consider his future when the January transfer window open up in the next few weeks.

“I’m still focused on Dortmund. We are doing great this season,” Pulisic told NBC Sports.

“Once the break comes [in January], that is always when I will have to discuss with Dortmund and see about my future.

Could Chelsea seriously tempt Pulisic to the Premier League this January?

Sarri knows that a slight injury to either Eden Hazard or Pedro and he will be lacking that ability on the wings, and splashing out £70 million on the American may seem like a lot of money, but he would be a great long-term investment.

At 20-year of age he still has many more years ahead of him in the game and could also be the ideal long-term replacement for Hazard.
