Five-year deal to be announced soon as Chelsea fans see Maldini make big Hernandez announcement

Chelsea have suffered a massive blow in their attempts to sign Theo Hernandez from AC Milan this January.
The start of the New Year in football signifies the opening of the transfer window and after the past month of struggle for Chelsea, it might be a bit busier than anticipated for Tuchel
There has been a number of players linked with a transfer move to the Bridge, and the latest name to to linked is that of Hernandez
Recent reports from Tuttosport have claimed Chelsea have explored a deal to bring him to Stamford Bridge and were told by Milan an offer of €60m could tempt them into doing business.
He is now regarded as one of the finest defenders in the Italian League after making a real name for himself, but Chelsea were reportedly not willing to pay £60 million to try and get a transfer deal done.
Now amid the speculation that Chelsea were preparing that move, Italian Journalist Fabrizio Romano has opened up and revealed that Hernandez is all set to sign a big five-year deal with the Italian giants
Romano has Tweeted: ‘AC Milan director Paolo Maldini announces: “Theo Hernandez will extend the contract in the next days. We’ve reached an agreement – it’s just matter of time to meet with his agent and sign all the paperworks”. 🔴🤝 #ACMilan

Look, the Winter transfer window is not the best time to get transfer deals done, especially for the best players. So it is not a shock to see that Hernandez wants to stay at Milan
He is playing well and he probably knows that when Ben Chilwell comes back, he will not longer be the number one at the Bridge and doesnt want to sit on the bench on a weekly basis
So that is why he probably agreed a new contract with Milan
