Chelsea ready massive five-year deal as Frenchman’wants to leave’ Premier League rivals

French International Anthony Martial has reportedly told Manchester United that he wants to leave the club in the summer transfer window, with Chelsea linked with a possible move.

Martial had finally hit the ground running under Jose Mourinho this season and finally started to earn the trust of the Portuguese boss, with a number of impressive performances and goals earning him regular first team minutes.

However, the arrival of Alexis Sanchez in the January transfer window has limited his first team action, meaning he had grown frustrated at the fact he is now sitting on the bench more often than not.

And according to French radio station RMC Sport, Martial is unhappy with his reduced role at United and has clashed with Mourinho.

That has alerted a number of sides across the Premier League and Europe, with Chelsea one of the clubs interested.

The Blues may be looking to add to their squad this summer, with Real Madrid keen on star man Eden Hazard and Manchester United keen to snap up Willian.

And Martial, who is able to play across the whole front-line is seen as the ideal goal-scoring threat that could replace either player.

However, United will not be looking to sell Martial on the cheap, with reports suggesting United will look to gain some profit on the £50 million they paid acquire the services of Martial.
