Granovskaia meets with Suso agent to complete £34 million Chelsea deal
Reports have claimed Chelsea’s Marina Granovskaia has spoken to the agent of AC Milan star Suso about a possible January transfer deal.
After making the move from Liverpool over fours years ago, Suso has transformed himself into one of the best wingers in world football and ahs become one of the most important players in the Milan squad, with the Spaniard already scoring three goals and providing seven assists.
His performances for Milan have caught the attentions of Maurizio Sarri, who is eager to add a big more creativity to his squad this coming transfer window and add a long-term replacement for the aging Pedro and departing Real Madrid target Eden Hazard.
And after reports emerged which suggested Sari ‘had put the wheels’ in motion about a possible £34 million deal, the Football.london website has claimed Chelsea’s Granovskaia met with Alessandro Lucci to discuss a possible transfer deal.
However, it is believed the £24-year-old is happy at the San Siro and is interested in a one-year extension to his current deal which could make Chelsea’s chase very difficult, especially as they already have a number of options in the Blues squad already.
Could Chelsea persuade Suso to make a move away from Milan?
Suso is showing the kind of creativity and ability that could add something to the Blues squad over the coming seasons, especially if Sarri wants to push on and challenge for more than just the Premier League title.
So if they can convince Suso to quit Milan in the coming transfer windows, and for the price that he is currently going for, then it would be a great bit of business for the club now and in the long-run.
But convincing a player that is happy in his current situation will be a difficult task for the Blues and it will take something special to get this deal done.
