Italians confirms talks planned to get Chelsea transfer deal all wrapped up

Stefano Pioli has confirmed AC Milan want to sign Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori on a permanent deal.

Tomori moved to Milan on loan in January after falling down the squad pecking order at Stamford Bridge, as Frank Lampard simply did not trust him at the back, but since his move, he has since rediscovered his best form at San Siro.

But Chelsea rate the lad very highly and there has been alot of talk that they will look to give him more of a chance in that first team next season, especially as he could save the club around £40 million in transfer fees.

But after impressing over in Italian football, Poli has opened up and revealed that they have are very keen to keep Tomori at the club on a more permanent basis: “We want to buy Tomori on a permanent deal from Chelsea,” the Milan boss told reporters.

“Our intention is clear and also Fikayo’s decision (staying at Milan). We’ll see what happens at the end of the season.”

Roundup…

Tomori is a very gifted defender and it is very easy to see just why The Italians want to keep hold of the man, But Chelsea would be massive fools to let him leave the club on a permanent basis.

He is the type of player that would flourish under the guidance of Thomas Tuchel at Chelsea, so even though the Italians do want to keep hold of Tomori, we believe that Chelsea should make sure that he stays put.

Why sell him?
