Chelsea ‘are not ruling’ out move to bring £250,000-a-week Brazilian Coutinho back to Premier League
Fresh reports have claimed Chelsea are not ruling out a loan deal for Philippe Coutinho during the transfer window.
Coutinho has been in the transfer headlines alot over the past few months as all indications suggest that he is leaving Barcelona in the summer after failing to make any sort of impact on the side.
He has not made the impact at Barcelona that many had hoped for after his move from Liverpool, and has even been shipped out to Bayern Munich for the last few seasons as the Spaniards didnt know what to do with the Brazilian.
And it has been claimed that Coutinho is eyeing up a summer move back to the Premier League, where the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United and even Newcastle United are all eyeing up a potential transfer deal.
And according to ESPN, a loan deal for Philippe Coutinho is still not being ruled out at this stage by the Chelsea board, as they know that adding a world class player like Coutinho to the side will give the club a little extra.
The Blues could be the Premier League’s big spenders this summer, as they prepare to make up for lost time in the transfer market, and Frank Lampard is set to get his first taste of Roman Abramovich’s cash since being appointed as Chelsea manager.
The club have already wrapped up deals for Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech and Kai Havertz could also follow, as it seems that he has become the top target for the club.
Coutinho is a world class player that wants that move back to the premier League, so if Chelsea can get him on a loan-deal for the next year or so, it will give them an opportunity to see if he is good enough to sign on a permanent basis.
