French boss officially confirms Chelsea interest in signing real powerhouse star
The season is back up and running after a break for the World Cup in Qatar – but we are only a few days away from the opening of the January transfer window – and the possibility of a few players arriving at Stamford Bridge
Graham Potter is a man that knows he needs to add some more quality to that Chelsea squad – and the January window will give him a chance to sign some players that will make a real difference to the side.
Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has now revealed that negotiations between the two clubs are reaching their final stages with an “expectation” the deal will be wrapped up “soon” with the 21-year-old “keen on the move” to Stamford Bridge.
However – Monaco manager Philippe Clement has warned Chelsea they are not the only club interested in signing centre-back Badiashile: “I don’t think there is only one club that has approached Benoit Badiashile,” he told reporters.
“It’s not just Chelsea. There has been a lot of interest in several of our players over the past six months. This is also the case with Benoît.”

we are not sure that Badiashile is a man that will helps solve their defensive issues.
He is very talented and has a big future in the game – but at the end of the day guys – he is not quite ready to be a regular starter in the Blues side.
If Wesley Fofana was fit – Badiashile would not be signed – so when the young man is back – will the Monaco star be needed?
