Coman wants Prem move, Chelsea offer money plus Abraham, Will fans welcome Niguez? and Chelsea told Zaha can leave for right price in Chelsea roundup…
Reports have again claimed that Chelsea have officially submitted an offer to sign Erling Haaland this transfer window.
Chelsea have just got back inside that top four and won the Champions League title, But Tuchel knows that he needs to keep adding to the squad over the course of the window as Manchester City will be stronger next season.
That has led to a whole load of rumours that Tuchel wants to add another striker and midfielder to the squad, with a number of world class players linked, with the latest reports claiming that Chelsea have opened talks with Erling Haaland about a new deal
Holding midfielder Jorginho ended 2020/21 as their top scorer in the Premier League with seven penalties and Thomas Tuchel wants to recruit a true goal-getter for a title push next season.
Now, According to a report from Italian-based journalist Ekrem Konuir, Chelsea have lodged a bid for Dortmund hitman Erling Haaland, and The report suggests that the European champions have offered £60m (€70m), as well as current blues striker Tammy Abraham in part exchange.
Abraham is very highly-rated by Chelsea but his future is in serious doubt as he cannot get into that Blues starting line-up and he has been linked with a move away from Chelsea for months now.
But even if they did land Haaland, his arrival would present other problems at Stamford Bridge. That’s because The Guardian says Haaland’s agent Mino Raiola would demand wages of £300,000 per week for the striker.
That is way short of the world’s top earners, like Barcelona’s Lionel Messi, Real Madrid’s Gareth Bale and Juventus’ Cristiano Ronaldo, but would still shatter Chelsea’s current wage structure.
Chelsea look set to rival Manchester United in the race for Saul Niguez as Atletico Madrid lower their asking price to £68million, but would fans welcome the player?
Saul won his first La Liga title with Atletico this season, but his involvement significantly decreased compared to past seasons. In the previous three campaigns, he made at least 30 league starts as Atletico finished second in both 2018 and 2019 and third in 2020.
However, in 2020/21, he made just 22 starts as Simeone led the club to its first Spanish title win in seven years, and His drop down the pecking order has reportedly resulted in him desiring a move away from the Wanda Metropolitano in the upcoming transfer window.
And According to of Mundo Deportivo, Saul is ‘determined’ to part ways with Atletico this summer, with Chelsea now ready to try and make a transfer move.
Saul has a £129million (€150m) release clause in his Atletico contract, but with the deal expiring in 2026, the club would accept an offer worth around £69m (€80m), the reports claims
Niguez is a very special player that would be a world class signing for Chelsea if they were to step up their chase in the transfer window to try and get some sort of transfer deal done.
Not many players want to leave Madrid, so Chelsea would have to offer something special to get a deal done, but he would be worth the money guys
But considering they are a side that can offer him top level football and more chances to win trophies, it would be a very good option for him to make a possible move to the Bridge
Chelsea fans are always happy to see new players make that move to the club and Niguez would be a very exciting one for the fans
Kingsley Coman is keen on a move to the Premier League after becoming increasingly unsettled at Bayern Munich, which has alerted the likes of Chelsea.
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel will look to add a bit more quality to his squad in the transfer window as there has been some reports in the media that Roman Abramovic will give the German a £200 million transfer kitty.
And that has led to some reports in the media that Chelsea are very much interested in trying to secure the services of Coman from Bayern Munich by the end of the transfer window.
Coman still has two years left to run on his Bayern contract but negotiations over a new one have stalled, prompting transfer rumours and it seems the German club would entertain offers.
The 24-year-old winger contributed eight goals and 12 assists in 39 appearances for Bayern last season as Coman added another Bundesliga title to his trophy collection
Feeling underappreciated in Bavaria, the English top-flight is said to be Coman’s preferred destination, according to the Sky Sports website.
Coman’s agent, Pini Zahavi, has begun testing the waters in England to gauge possible interest in his client, with reports claiming he wants a yearly wage of £13.7-14.6million (€16-17m)
Look, we are massive fans of Coman and believe he does have the quality to make an impact in the Premier League, especially after another impressive season in the Bundesliga.
If he does leave Bayern in the transfer window, it will be interesting to see where he ends up, but he would be welcome in the Premier League
Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish has warned the likes of Chelsea that a deal for Wilfred Zaha will only be done at the “right” price.
Over the past few seasons, Zaha has developed into one of the most deadly attackers in the Premier League and his performances over the past few seasons has led to alot of speculation about where he will be by the end of the summer
The highly-rated 28-year-old has made no secret of that fact that the time has come for him to make another high-profile move, and Palace can appreciate why Zaha wants out, but no discounts will be offered to those planning to put formal bids on the table.
Parish has told BBC Sport : “We understand his position.
“It’s no secret that he would like to challenge himself.
“But it has to be right for the football club. He understands that as well.
“If those two things collide then we will have to look at it. But right now, we are two days into the transfer window so it’s a bit early to talk about it.”
He may not be a spring chicken, but he is proven in the Premier League and would be a player that fans would love to see on a weekly basis, especially as he adds pace, power and goals to that Palace squad.
But if Chelsea do make a transfer move in the coming weeks, is there really space in this Chelsea side for him to play on a weekly basis?
