David Ornestein says Chelsea have made £60M decision about signing Frenchman!
Chelsea have reportedly withdrawn from the race to sign Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise.
The transfer window has now been open for a new days and there is still alot of transfer speculation surrounding CHELSEA and players that they could sign now that Enzo Maresca has got himself settled at the club.
Olise enjoyed a productive season with Crystal Palace despite only playing 19 Premier League games due to an ongoing hamstring injury, as the winger struck 10 goals and provided six assists in the top-flight as Palace finished 10th under Oliver Glasner.
Chelsea attempted to trigger the 22-year-old’s release clause last summer but the player ultimately signed a new deal with Palace, but it has been claimed in recent months that the Blues were closing in on a potential deal for the gifted winger.
But it appears that there will be no move to Stamford Bridge this summer either, as respected Journalist David Ornestein has opened up and claimed that Chelsea have not decided to pull out of the chase for the French attacker.
He Tweeted: ‘EXCL: Chelsea withdraw from race to sign Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise. #CFC held talks with #CPFC + 22yo but felt finances involved beyond reach – instead plan to reward existing players & new recruits (expected to add 2 attackers)

CHELSEA could be a good option for the player as they need someone like Olise to come in and help that attack – that struggled to impress at times last season. So the news that they have pulled out of the chase is quite a shock.
As we said – he would have been a great signing for Chelsea and a player that could have made an instant impact on the side.
