Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news and gossip from icfootballnews that we think you guys may have missed –

The likes of Arsenal have been told that Christian Pulisic will not be leaving Chelsea in the January window.

Pulisic was regarded as one of the finest talents in world football before he made the move to Chelsea – but despite some decent performances – he has looked nothing like the player he was over at Borussia Dortmund.

He struggles to make much on an impact on that Chelsea squad and when he does have a decent run in the side – he picks up some kind of injury which halts his progression at Stamford Bridge.

That has led to alot of speculation in the media that he is considering leaving Chelsea in the winter window – with a number of top clubs keeping a close eye on his current situation.

The Gunners are monitoring him as he performs well at the World Cup, according to a recent report on The Daily Mail.

Pulisic has put in two incredible performances for the USA as they seek to progress through to the knock-out stages of the Competition – and he looks like a player that could make a real difference to any side.

However – despite all the rumours that he could be departing the club in the January window – Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg has dispelled rumours stating that Pulisic might be on his way out of the club in the upcoming winter transfer window.

The Journalist says Pulisic is highly unlikely to leave unless a “great and interesting offer” arrives after the World Cup.

It is easy to see why there is so much speculation about Pulisic – but if he does leave in the January window – Chelsea better have a read-made back-up as he will be missed – despite his indifferent performances.

It will be interesting to see if the Gunners do make a move though.

Dumfries wanted –

Chelsea are reportedly determined to complete the signing of Dutch International Denzel Dumfries.

Reece James picked up a serious injury earlier in the season that has kept him out for a while now – and also kept him out of impressing at the World Cup with England.

He may be getting better and returning to action soon – but his departure has shown Graham Potter that he needs to delve into that transfer kitty and add another right-sided defender to the squad.

Dumfries is a player that Chelsea have been eyeing up for some time – but have never made an official offer – but after seeing him impress at the World Cup –  and according to reports on Goal – Chelsea are determined to sign the defender

Amid all that speculation – Matteo Di Marzio recently told Chelsea how they may be able to sign the defender.

Speaking to wettfreunde regarding Dumfries, Matteo Di Marzio said: “He’s doing a good job at Inter – even Wednesday night against Barcelona.

“They don’t want to sell Dumfries but you know the economical situation of Inter is particular because the club is having economical problems and so I think every player at Inter could be sold.

“But in this moment the owner of Inter and Simone Inzaghi and the managers, they decided not to touch the most important players until the end of the season – Dumfries, [Milan] Skriniar.

“They will try to keep the most important players until the end of the season and at the end of the season with Chelsea they will try to renew the deal of Lukaku,” he added.

“”I don’t know if in Lukaku’s deal, Chelsea will try to ask again for Dumfries, or Skriniar or Lautaro [Martinez].

“It depends on the two situations of the clubs but they will talk again soon because Lukaku wants to stay at Inter and so surely Chelsea and Inter have to talk about Lukaku and probably other players.”

Zacharyan on way?

Arsen Zacharyan is likely to follow Christopher Nkunku to Chelsea – Blues fans have been told

Zakharyan is regarded as one of the brightest prospects in world football and Chelsea were willing to pay his €15m (£12.6m) release clause, however, the deal collapsed due to FIFA and UEFA restrictions on signing Russian players.

However – Chelsea are still keeping a close eye on the talented young man and he has recently come out and stated his desire to join the Blues –

Now – Zacharyan has opened up and admitted that talks are now underway.

“I don’t think about it now,” he said, as per @sportexpress, via @hrachoff.

“You can ask the club or my representatives. I think it’s all right. Talks are underway. But I won’t reveal all the cards.”

Now – if you believe the words of Journalist Dean Jones – Zacharyan will follow Nkunku to Stamford Bridge after the RB leipzig star reportedly agreed a move to London himself recently

Jones told GIVEMESPORT: “What we know is the Nkunku deal is being pushed through, there’s also the deal for Zakharyan that is being viewed as a priority.

“So those two are good and likely transfers that will happen, anything else I think is going to probably rely on some players moving out first.”

And if you believe the words of Iomie Stanley – he would be a very good signing for the Blues – he told IcFootballnews: ‘If it was not for that FIFA ban – Chelsea would have Zacharyan in the side already.

‘they are impressed by his ability and believe that they can turn him into that next big thing – especially now that Graham Potter is in charge of the club.

‘For the right money – he would be a very good signing for the club – but it will be a tough task to actually get a deal done with all the Issues in the world right now.

‘But he is a talent and would be a great buy.

‘However – Potter has some serious issues that he needs to sort out and we are not sure that signing a talent like Zacharyan for now would be the best way to solve his issues.

‘He would be a good signing for the Blues – but not to solve the clubs issues in attack.”
