Chelsea fans will love this after Manchester United legend Ince chooses Blues over Red Devils

Former Manchester United captain Paul Ince has said he would prefer to watch Chelsea in action instead of his former club.

Both United and Chelsea have had very inconsistent starts to the new Premier League season and look a long way off challenging the likes of Manchester City and Liverpool for that Premier League title.

They boast some of the best youngsters currently in the game, and there is a feeling that both Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Frank Lampard will be given enough time to help develop the youngsters into some of the best players in the games, while also challenging for major trophies.

But Ince has outlined how the Blues have a clearer vision than his former club, who have managed only one win in their last five Premier League games under manager Ole Gunnar Solksjaer.

‘I think of Ole in the same way as I do Frank Lampard,’ said the former midfielder on the Daily Mail website.

‘Two young managers, lacking experience, thrown into two massive clubs.

‘But if you gave me the choice of who I’d rather be watching this season, it’d be Chelsea all day long – and that hurts me as a former United captain.

‘At least when I look at Chelsea, I see what they’re trying to do, the way they play, their identity – they’re pressing high, getting tight and creating chances. They can only get better.

‘Can anybody tell me what United are trying to do? Because I have no idea. They’re so reliant on the young lad Daniel James – who is brilliant, but was in the Championship with Swansea last season – it’s crazy.’

Both United and Chelsea are going through a transitional phase that is not what fans are used too, and that will take time, especially as both are producing some very exciting young players.

But Chelsea are more clearer than United at what they are aiming for and Solskjaer needs to start implementing his plan for the next five years, as the results will need to be backed up by wins, and exciting ones at that.

At this current time, Chelsea are more enjoyable to watch that United.
