Chelsea fans will love what £50 million man Pulisic has said after getting number ten shirt

Chelsea, Pulisic

Christian Pulisic is loving life as Chelsea’s new No10 after being handed the iconic shirt.

Pulisic had injury issues at the beginning of his life at Chelsea last season, but he showed just how brilliant he can become towards the back-end of the season, and helped the club reach the FA Cup final and get back inside the top dour spots.

His performances last season led to the decision from Chelsea to hand him the number 10 shirt, previously worn by Joe Cole, Mark Hughes and Eden Hazard, in the off-season and he has admitted he is loving being the clubs new number ten.

He also claimed that he wants to replicate their achievements, He told CBS: “It meant a lot. It’s no secret that it’s been my favourite number. It’s the number I wanted to be.

“Now that Willian moved on this season, there was an opportunity there. I spoke with the club and everyone felt like I was ready for it, and I felt I was ready, and it’s a number I like.

“So it was a really proud moment for me last weekend to wear it for Chelsea for the first time.

“I understand what it means and how much history it has, how many incredible players have worn it before me, but I see it as my favourite number. I just want to do well.”

Pulisic is the man that will guide Chelsea back into the habit of winning trophies, he is brilliant and the player that many are excited about.

He deserves to get that number ten shirt and show everybody that he is the leader at the club. So many will just hope that he managed to be as influential as Cole, Hazard and Hughes were wearing that shirt.
