Werner makes Lamps claim, Sky is limit for Pulisic, Dortmund will sell Sancho, Havertz update in Chelsea news roundup..

Timo Werner has revealed that Frank Lampard was a big reason why he agreed to sign with the Blues.

We all know that Werner is one of the very best strikers in the game right now, but it was Chelsea that managed to secure a transfer deal to sign up the brilliantly gifted German star for a small fee of £50 million.

Christian Pulisic has been told that “the sky’s the limit” for him at Chelsea, with fellow countryman Kasey Keller backing the United States international to star in English football.

Big things were expected of the 21-year-old forward when he arrived at Stamford Bridge in the summer of 2019, but with all the injuries, he has so far failed to establish himself at the club like many had hoped.

But the man that many believe will eventually be the man that replaces Eden Hazard at the club has shone since returning after the Coronavirus break, and has started showing fans just how good he is.

And in the video below, courtesy of the icfootballnews Youtube channel, We fill you in on what Keller has said and if he can become one of the best players in the Premier League.

Borussia Dortmund’s chief executive Hans-Joachmin Watzke admits the club are willing to discuss selling Chelsea target Jadon Sancho, but doubts anyone could match their asking price.

There has been alot of speculation in the media suggesting that Chelsea are willing to splash around £100 million in the summer to try and acquire the services of Sancho, who has become one of the most exciting wingers in the Bundesliga over the last few seasons.

Frank Lampard is keen to bolsters his squad at the end of the season and improve the side enough to get back challenging for that Premier League title, and needs a bit more quality and creativity on the wings

It has been claimed over the past few days that Chelsea are ready to get the cheque-book in the summer window and bring Sancho to the premier League for a fee of around £70 million.

However, Dortmund reportedly rate him at £100m, with Chelsea among those thought to be interested, and although they have claimed that they are will to letting the young man leave, they also claim that it would be unlikely that clubs can meet his asking price.

Watzke said: ““If Jadon approaches us and says he wants to leave no matter what – which has not happened so far – and a club wants to spend what we are asking for, we will discuss it.

“But I don’t think a club will pay the fee we want.”

Look, until the transfer window is closed and the players announces that he does not want to leave, there will continue to be alot of transfer speculation about where he will end up in the coming months.

Bayer Leverkusen boss Peter Bosz has been discussing the future of Chelsea target Kai Havertz.

Chelsea fans have all been reading the headlines over the past few months, and know that the club are seriously interested in trying to nail down the services of Havertz.

He is seen as a great investment and another statement signing that could help the Blues challenge for that Premier League and Champions League titles next season.

And in the video below, courtesy of the icfootballnews Youtube channel we have the latest update regrading the Young man, and whether or not he would be a good signing for the club.
