Boehly message sent after Chelsea propse stunning January swap deal for £73M man
Pundit Frank McAvennie has urged Chelsea against signing Jadon Sancho from Man United in the coming transfer windows
Sancho established himself as one of the most exciting young wingers in the game during his time at Borussia Dortmund – scoring and creating goals for fun.
However – The 22-year-old has been unable to live up to his £73 million price tag following his move from Borussia Dortmund last year – and looks a shadow of the player that lit up the Bundesliga on a weekly basis
And that has led to some recent reports on Italian outlet Calciomercato which have claimed that Chelsea have proposed a possible swap deal involving Pulisic for the signature of Sancho
However – McAvennie is worried Potter’s side could face similar problems with Sancho that they faced with Raheem Sterling – who has also failed to make much of an impact at the club since his move to London in the summer
“Are they going to take another player like Sterling?” he told Football Insider.
“Sancho is like Sterling, he can play great for three or four games and then miss half a dozen.
“Will he go to Chelsea? I do not know. I do not know if Chelsea would want another player like that. Maybe there is more to it.“

He has joined a Man United side that are nothing what they used to be – they are in transition and they need time to find themselves
But it is a shame to see that Sancho has not been the player he was at Dortmund
However – we are not sure that Chelsea is the right place to reignite his career as there is much more pressure on him than there would be at United – we cant see this ever happening
