Sarri reacts! Chelsea boss opens up on possible signing of £70m Pulisic

Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has admitted he does not want to talk about potential January signing Christian Pulisic.

Sarri will reportedly be handed a massive £200 million transfer kitty to bring in some world class players during the next transfer window, with a defender and new attacker high up on the shopping list.

And one name that has been heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge, is that of Pulisic, who is regarded as one of the finest talents in world football, and one player that could be the long-term replacement for Eden Hazard.

As every Chelsea fans knows, Hazard is on the radar of Spanish giants Real Madrid, with reports all suggesting that he will leave at the end of the season and make the move to La Liga in a deal worth around £200 million.

But after reports emerged earlier this week which suggested that Chelsea had made the first move to try and sign Pulisic, Sarri has admitted he has no intention of talking about another clubs player.

‘I don’t want to talk about a player from another club,’ said Sarri on the Metro website.

It is widely believed that Borussia Dortmund are now ready to cash in on Pulisic in the coming windows for a fee of £70 million after the emergence of exciting Englishman Jadon Sancho.

Will Chelsea be able to seal a deal for Pulisic?

Chelsea have the funds and the space to complete a deal for Pulisic is they seriously wanted to secure a transfer, but it is just a case of whether the American fancies the move to the Premier League.

He is happy and comfortable at Dortmund and will only leave if the Germans accept an offer in the next few windows.

But if Chelsea secure a deal for Pulisic, it will be a very good bit of business.
