Chelsea have made moves to sign £80 million valued star – eager for fresh challenge

Chelsea have made their moves to try and sign Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic this summer window

Recent reports claimed that CHELSEA were ready to make their moves in the January window as a report from Italy claimed the Blues  remained keen on adding Vlahovic to their squad after missing out on him last season.

According to Alfredo Pedulla, Chelsea have tested Juventus’ resolve by lodging a £70million bid after identifying Vlahovic as their number one target for the summer

Vlahovic has endured an underwhelming spell with Juventus, however, and only found the back of the net 10 times in the league last season as his side finished in seventh place after being slapped with a 10-point deduction due to false accounting.

And despite having three years remaining on his current contract, the 23-year-old could be heading for the Allianz Stadium exit. According to recent reports on Calciomercato, Vlahovic is eager for a new experience and his agent Darko Ristic has held talks with United, Arsenal and Chelsea.

Despite his recent struggles, Vlahovic has often been regarded as one of the best young strikers in Europe in recent years. And the ex-Partizan man could now view a move away from Italy as his best chance to once again hit the heights he is capable of.

WOULD HE BE A GOOD SIGNING FOR CHELSEA?

Vlahovic moved to Juventus believing that he would be winning trophies and playing Champions League football every season – but that has not been the case.

There has been alot of rumours about where he will end up and Chelsea will remain interested –

CHELSEA still need to sign a 30-goal a season forward and Vlahovic is certainly a player that has the physical presence to lead that Blues attack.

He could be a very good signing for the Blues
