Big news as Chelsea ready to pay close to 100 million and secure big signing

Fresh reports have claimed in the media that CHELSEA still want to sign a new striker in the coming transfer windows and are now reportedly ready to try and secure the services of Newcastle striker Alexander Isak, and are prepared to pay big money in order to get a transfer deal done

Isak has been talked about as a player that will make that next step in his career and move to the likes of Chelsea or Arsenal, who have been linked with a transfer move for the big man for the past 6 months, but are put off by his £100 million asking price.

However – speculation over a possible move away from Newcastle has gathered pace over the past few weeks, as rumours have emerged which have suggested that there have been some issues in agreeing a new contract at Newcastle, and the big teams are ready to make their moves.

Now the CHELSEA board would be willing to pay a figure close to 100 million euros to close his incorporation, an amount that Newcastle’s offices are analyzing carefully, according to Fichajes

Amid all that recent rumours, Isak opened up and addressed all the speculation – on the transfer rumours, he told Fotbol Skanalen: “Throughout my career, I have never talked about or really commented on the move rumours during the season. There have been many such years where it has been talked about. It doesn’t affect me.

“I am commenting on my situation in Newcastle, and I have never had any problem there. I am fully focused on my task there and that we will have a fantastic season. There are still great opportunities for that. I have no thoughts about anything else.”

When asked about his representatives allegedly being frustrated with Newcastle, he added:

“The only thing I can say is that a lot of information and rumours often come out. Much of what I read is not true. So that’s about all I can say about the whole thing.”
