Chelsea ‘have decided’ to get transfer deal done for £200k-a-week star – want transfer done this week

Chelsea are looking to offload talented winger Callum Hudson-Odoi this week – according to reports.

CHELSEA have already seen several high-profile players leave the club this summer. Kai Havertz, Mason Mount and Mateo Kovacic have all found new homes in the Premier League.

Kalidou Koulibaly, Edouard Mendy and N’Golo Kante have moved to the Saudi Pro League, while Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Christian Pulisic have both joined AC Milan. Club captain Cesar Azpilicueta has left for Atletico Madrid.

A few seasons ago Hudson-Odoi was regarded as the future of Chelsea – a special talent that doesnt come around too often and a player that the club had massive hopes for

However – he had failed to reach the heights that many expected and last summer – he was allowed to leave the club on loan for the season in hope of getting some much needed game time with Bayer Leverkusen

The winger – once valued at £60 million – made a number of starts for the German outfit – but once again failed to live upto the hype and the decision was made to not make the move a permanent now.

Chelsea have now made the decision to allow him to leave

The Evening Standard claims that the Blues have made the decision to trim the squad even further over the next week and Hudson-Odoi will be one of the names out of the door,

The report says Chelsea have told the winger they did not have to report for pre-season training last week and instead were given a return date of this coming Monday. But the club want to sell as soon as possible.

TIME TO MOVE ON FOR ODOI?

The lad had a big future once – but the money got to his head and his performances dropped off. He needs to reignite his career so a move away for him is the best thing.
